BFF Report - Gods and Heroes - WoW Killer?
2011/03/17 at 2:20 PM
Okay, maybe not..
Gods and Heroes is a Roman Mythology based MMORPG, complete with bath houses, floating heads and all. The game is currently in beta and doesn't have an announced release date, but I'm sure it'll be sometime late summer... assuming you're looking to fill that void in your gaming regimen that's lacking in SPPPARRTTAAAAA!!!
Check out the BFF Report after the break!
Legendary - The WoW Video Podcast - Buff Mages More Plz
2011/03/17 at 1:01 AM
Gary Gannon is hosting the show from the new GameBreaker.TV studio, and the close up cam is obviously not close enough.
Lots of stuff to cover this week:
Ask the Devs.. Oh, GG Post Cap.
Darnell Full Nelsons Blizz. Blizz Proceeds With Banning Bots.
Mages Get a Much Needed Buff :|
Titan, Yogg-Solo, and more!
Blizz Blues - Ep 9 - AndroBots in Ya'lls BGs!
2011/03/15 at 4:48 PM
We probably all agree that botting feels as though it's out of control, especially in battlegrounds. It's like we just can't mark them all afk fast enough to really make a noticeable difference, right? Thankfully, Darnell shares our grief and is here to give us a breakdown on various bot behavior so we can "getsta stompin' dat.."
BFF Report - Everquest ONE (yes, 1)
2011/03/11 at 3:38 PM
I decided this week to go back and check out one of the original MMORPGs that helped shape the games that we play today. I think we've all heard the term "WoW-Clone" but did you know that alot of what WoW started out with was inspired by games like DAoC, Everquest, etc? Or even better.. have you ever known someone to complain about the "grind" in WoW? Well...

Blizz Blues - Ep 8 - 'Exclusive' Charlie Sheen Interview
2011/03/08 at 3:09 AM
For those that don't know,
is a good friend of mine, and the newest addition to the
family. He does a little show called "
" where he covers some of the general WoW related nonsense, but occasionally goes off on a.. tangent?
This week Charlie Sheen himself has taken some time to sit down with Darnell and... well, read on to watch and find out.

If you don't watch the show live every Tuesday at 9PM PST, you really really REALLY should. This past Tuesday we decided to ride the rockets in Azshara, all 1000 of us. Check the screenshot after the break!
BFF Report - Cataclysm 4.1 - Zul'Gurub
2011/03/02 at 2:21 PM
Oh look, Blizzard is rehashing old content again.. or are they? I know that ZG is a "kind of a big deal" and the fact that its back is right up there on the "bigdealness" scale, so I decided to throw together a nice dungeon guide for those that are looking forward to it.. and for the noobs that can't not stand in things that kill you for some reason..
Since it's dropping prettydangcloseto raid quality gear, will those of you who aren't raiding yet focus on farming up ZG and ZA, or will you just skip it and get right to 10/25s?
Overall, how do you guys think it compares to OG ZG?
Legendary - The WoW Video Podcast - Hotfixes vs PTR
2011/02/23 at 5:34 PM
Blizz has been doing a pretty good job preventing people from getting too comfy with their toons with the constant barrage of hotfixes lately. But, are there really more hotfixes now versus what they've done in the past, or is their new policy of 'transparency' causing more unrest than resolve? What about the PTR? Is that all but useless now that they are making changes almost daily?
Also, PvP issues from the perspective of a 3100+ rated player, sad violin music, and more tinfoil hat talk as we connect a few extra dots between Bungie and Blizzard in the 'next gen MMO' fiasco.
BTW, I'm the
of our rated battleground team and we stream (
) the games (w/sick haxball matches inbetween) at 7PM PST Tues-Thurs. Sooo... you should come watch us be terrible at Gilneas.
BFF Report - Battlestar Galactica Online
2011/02/21 at 4:34 PM
Since you more than likely can't play WoW at work, let me show you a possible time-sink alternative.. assuming you can get the unity engine installed on your corporate workstation, that is. Battlestar Galactica Online may not be the first browser based MMO, but it is easily the best looking and definitely the most basedonaTVseries'esque game playable in your Netscape (or whatever fancy browser you kids use nowadays) browser. Let's take a gander at it...
So, which of your all-time favorite games would you like to see a browser port of?
Legendary - The WoW Video Podcast - WoW as an E-Sport?
2011/02/16 at 9:14 PM
Yo dawg I herd u lyk hotfixes.. Rly Blizz? With a hotfix going out almost daily, is this changing the way you go about your day to day gaming? I mean, what if you come across some wtfpwn _____ that your class can pull off, will you be put off on using it in fear of an insta-nerf?
What about RBGs as legit E-Sport?
This week's Legendary is chock full of questions...
Lastly, if you could build a WoW theme park ride, what would it be?
BFF Report - RIFT - It Has Dungeons - Just like WoW (again)!!
2011/02/11 at 12:18 PM
So this week I got a chance to put together a nice little dungeon guide for a handful of the first few instances in RIFT. I was pretty impressed with how they compared with pre-cata lowbie instances, but until my group has to defeat a slobbering biped who takes shelter in a bubbling cauldron, I'm not quite sold...
