BlizzCon 2010 Goodie Bag Leaked?
2010/10/14 at 10:14 PM
Thanks to the folks over at
we have a leaked picture of what seems to be the major goodie in this years BlizzCon 2010 bag.
is a maquette, read: scale model, based on the big bad ass - Deathwing. Much like last year's Jim Raynor n00bz figure you won't be able to purchase this item in the stores! Looks like BlizzCon attendees are in for a special treat after all!
Now, we aren't sure if this is real or not! Could very well be a very elaborate troll - why don't you decide for yourself?
I'm personally hoping it is the real deal!

Wowhead: Justice Points Filters Now Available
2010/10/13 at 3:51 PM
The developers here at Wowhead have been slaving away in an effort to make our main site compatible with 4.0.1. While they were at it, they added a new feature that you will all enjoy:
costs are now displayed on items!
There is even a new
option so you can check out all the costs for items. This new feature is also extended to the new Honor Points, and even Conquest and Valor points once we are Cataclysm-bound.
You may notice we don't have costs for everything that should have cost. Well, fear not! If you are running the
and see anything that is missing we should have the information in the very near future.

4.0.1: Glyphs, Streaming and Class Changes!
2010/10/11 at 1:02 PM
Blizzard has gone on an announcement spree! Hopefully they are trying to hint 4.0.1 is tomorrow...
The first announcement concerns the changes to glyphs in 4.0.1. As many of you all know, the Glyph system is getting a complete overhaul. Each player will have 3 different kinds of glyphs:
which increase which give a direct increase to abilities (such as and ),
which augment spells or give them additional utility (like or ), and
which provide additional convenience or cosmetic changes (like and ).
The next announcement is about the new Streaming Launcher. You'll notice that in the new launcher you will see a bar which changes colours. While the bar is red the game is downloading core game files and you won't be able to play just yet. Yellow means you can play but there will be a lot of downloading while playing, and game play will not be fast. Green means good to go and you should be able to play with very little download
