Vengeance Hotfix and Starlight Ink Trades
2012/10/08 at 3:10 PM
A hotfix will be applied to adjust how Vengeance stacks for tanks of all classes:
Vengeance should now ramp up more quickly. Avoidance will now grant Vengeance based on the average damage of the avoided NPC auto-attack, instead of just refreshing existing Vengeance. This does not apply to enemy special attacks.
This will be noted in the next hotfix update, but we wanted to let you know immediately, as this change will be applied sometime today.
Beginning after the maintenance on Tuesday, October 9, ink traders will be converting from accepting Blackfallow Ink to accepting Ink of Dreams and Starlight Ink will become available for purchase. If you’re still holding on to your Blackfallow Ink, your time to trade it in is running short.

Temple of Kotmogu
During the lost days of ancient Pandaria, the ruling mogu built temples not unlike themselves – immense in size, vast in scope, and steeped in forces as old as the ground beneath their feet. Stony statues of the mogu still glare down from their long-vacant temples, and echoes of their supremacy persist to the present day. Inside the autumnal Temple of Kotmogu, a vicious melee has erupted over artifacts the mogu left behind: treasures older than the bloodlines of human kings and the clans of orcs, orbs of power that have bathed in the energies of Pandaria for ages. Will they bring the might of the mogu to the Horde or Alliance?
A team wins when 1600 points are reached. Points are gained when players co
City Exploit Hotfixed
2012/10/07 at 5:13 PM
Earlier today, certain realms were affected by an in-game exploit, resulting in the deaths of player characters and non-player characters in some of the major cities. This exploit has already been hotfixed, so it should not be repeatable. It's safe to continue playing and adventuring in major cities and elsewhere in Azeroth.
As with any exploit, we are taking this disruptive action very seriously and conducting a thorough investigation. If you have information relating to this incident, please email email@example.com. We apologize for the inconvenience some of you experienced as a result of this and appreciate your understanding.
Pet Battles: Wild Battle Pets by Zone
2012/10/07 at 11:10 AM
Capturing wild battle pets is a new way to obtain companion pets in Mists of Pandaria, and it is one of the primary ways of acquiring pets for your pet battle team.
Wild battle pets can be tracked on your minimap: you can have your team fight them for experience, or capture one at low health to add it to your collection. Pet families have strengths and weaknesses against other types, so choose your opponents wisely. There are different versions of each pet--some with more stats than others--so you could get lucky and end up capturing a really strong version! There's also many
achievements for capturing wild battle pets
We've made tables below of all the wild battle pets, organized by continent and color-coded by type. With this chart, you can see what pets are unique to various zones, and also which pet types are pretty scarce--Dragonkin and Mechanical especially. All the data was taken from our
