Blizzard's Live WoW Developer Q&A took place on Thursday, April 25th, 5:30 pm PDT. You can also visit
to view a full chronological transcript of the Q&A.
Some epic battle pets are coming in 5.4.
The new Barrens content in 5.3 will not be CRZ, and will not affect low-level questing.
Think the Alliance was shortchanged on lore? Dave Kosak has some thoughts on that.
Plans are in the works for some server population issues.
Based on player feedback, the PvP Pet Battle system may continue to expand after 5.3.
While the 5.4 raid will include Orgrimmar, it won't just be recycled zones--plans will see some new stuff.
PvP questions included players asking about PvPers making gold and additional PvP rewards. They also asked about 5.3 changes, such as ilvl 496 item scaling for PvP and removing resilience from PvP gear.

Battle Pet Tamer Guide: Locations, Quests, and Rewards
2013/04/06 at 12:34 PM
Battle Pet Tamers are a great way to level up pets and get battle pet rewards, but they're sometimes hard to track down since they're scattered all over the place. 5.1 also added the
Taming the World
, which boosts battle pet experience gained by 10%.
This guide covers the locations of all the battle pet tamers, as well as the tamer quests and rewards. We've also included maps and screenshots to the pet tamers, and if you'd like to see the exact stats and breeds of their pets, you can easily find them on the
trainer pet pages
, now flagged as Untameable!
If you want to take an in-depth look how to defeat the pet tamers, check out

Gear Guide: Twinking with Pandaria Gear
2013/01/21 at 1:03 PM
We've talked a lot about rare spawns and their fun vanity loot in Mists of Pandaria, but there's another reason why you want their loot as well--they drop high ilvl gear with low level requirements. This gear is perfect for making a
very powerful 85 twink
, as well as boosting your alts through Pandaria if you found questing tough before--
Spear of Xuen
, anyone? There's even some MoP gear level 80s can equip!
In addition to dominating battlegrounds, soloing old content is pretty fun--especially if you're wearing gear some level 90s wear, but don't have to worry about your combat ratings decaying as you level up.
In addition to rare spawn drops, many of these items are BoEs, so you can see the average realm buyout price on our Quick Facts, which is powered by
The Undermine Journal

Exploration Guide: The Relic Hunter

We had a lot of fun on beta tracking down these hidden objects with cool weapons and recipes for
Is Another Man's Treasure
, so we finally turned all of our observations into a guide!
In this guide, you'll find:
Zone maps with pins for all objects, that take you to their page when clicked on.
Screenshots of all items/objects.
Models of the BoA weapon rewards.
Coordinates for all items, that open a new map when clicked on.
For this achievement series, you'll track down items hidden around Pandaria. These items can only be found once per character, and finding multiples of the same item will not increase your total across alts. There are 28 items total.
Lost and Found

: Find 5 of the lost treasures hidden throughout Pandaria.
One Man's Trash...

Pet Battles: Leveling by Zone, October 12th Hotfixes
2012/10/13 at 10:00 AM
Continuing with our pet battle coverage, we'll be focusing on the leveling flow today, sorting each zone by their wild battle pet levels. Pet battle progression through zones roughly follows the same path you'd take questing, with a few minor deviations. Each zone in the tables below takes you to that zone's battle pet map, with a list of all the pets found in the zone and the pet locations marked on the map.
Here's some basics about capturing wild pets:
You can capture a wild battle pet when it is below 35%.
At 35%, you can use the
ability to attempt to capture the pet.
This takes up a turn and there is a chance it can miss--which diminishes with each failed capture.
You can only capture one companion pet when fighting a team of three wild pets. You must also win the battle to retain your captured pet!
Captured wild pets may have their level decay when captured (still much better than leveling one from scratch):
Level 16-20 pets lose one level.
Level 21-25 pets lose 2 levels.
Click the cut to see our charts showing what level wild pets are in each zone!
