Could the Polished Helm of Valor possibly get a change? Both it and the Might have Haste, which the Valor set is Crit-based.

Thank you for the feedback. This and other Heirloom stat changes are being addressed in an upcoming patch.

with Heirlooms now going up to lvl 100, can we have them drop from Garrosh again? Main draw of those was look/90-100 scaling.

Those were a reward for doing the content when it was relevant, and there are no plans to bring them back at this time.

hi guys, love your game. wondering why there is no heirloom mount that works for new Pandaren characters, is that intended?
This is a side-effect of the chauffeured mount being affiliated w/ Alliance or Horde. It’ll work once you choose a faction.

If RAF recruit uses token to pay for subscription, does it count for reward the same as prepaid card/subscription?

Any form of game time counts toward rewards for the Recruit A Friend system.

5.4.2 PTR: Cross-Realm Account-Bound Mail and Karazhan Restoration, Student Art Contest
2013/11/19 at 10:34 AM
Cross-Realm Account-Bound Mail
In the latest 5.4.2 PTR build, we are testing the new ability to mail account-bound items to other characters on your account that may be on different servers. Notably, this should allow you to move heirlooms between servers, in advance of our planned Warlords changes that will make them fully account-wide.
Sending this sort of mail should work like any cross-server communication: You send the item to "Playername-Servername" and it should otherwise work like regular mail. Note that you can only send account-bound items, and not other items or gold.
Example: I have a character, Thrall, on the Benedictus server. I want to send my heirloom mace to my alt, Durotan, on the Lycanthoth server. I'd log in as Thrall, and attach the mace to a mail addressed to "Durotan-Lycanthoth" and hit send.
We'd appreciate any feedback or bug reports on this new feature so that we can address any issues prior to the release of 5.4.2. But even without direct feedback, just logging into PTR and mailing account-bound items across servers should give us useful data to help confirm that the feature is working as intended. Thanks!
We tested this out and players can send mail cross-realm in addition to cross-faction by following the "Playername-Servername" format. We've tested this on heirloom items as well as Timeless Isle BoAs so far.
Karazhan Restoration Phase
A new phase description was datamined on the 5.4.2 PTR --"Karazhan Restoration." We're not sure what it's used for yet, but there are some minor zone changes in
on the PTR to support this.
The areas by
Attumen the Huntsman
Maiden of Virtue
(Banquet Hall, Grand Ballroom, Gatehouse, Livery, Scullery, Guest Chambers) are free from cobwebs and the humorous decorative skeletons have been removed, including the embracing couple in The Guest Chambers. This pair is seen as a reference to
Romeo and Juliet
with the poison vial, dried flowers, and dagger accessories.
Other funny skeletons that are removed include one next to an upturned banquet chair with an elaborate drawn sword--a food fight gone awry. The upturned chairs in The Banquet Hall have also been removed, although the spilled food and goblets remain on the floor. We've taken lots of pictures of the changes and you can always click on a thumbnail to enlarge the pictures to see the cobwebs better.
The rest of Karazhan is still unchanged.
