2013/04/09 at 10:49 AM
Four new scenarios and six heroic-difficulty scenarios are coming in Patch 5.3. If you're looking for something harder than dungeons but easier than Challenge Modes, Heroic Scenarios should be a good fit. Plus, in this current PTR build, you can get 0
in one, which isn't a bad deal.
In this initial preview, we'll look at the details, rewards, and UI for heroic scenarios, as well as the lore and stages for the four new scenarios. They should be testable soon on the 5.3 PTR, as Blizzard has recently

Real ID Party System No Longer Going Premium
2011/08/16 at 10:36 AM
Blizzard announced that their Real ID cross realm party system is now out of beta testing. Apparently it's here to stay as a free service rather than the initially speculated premium one--good news to those of us who made frequent use of this service. Of course, this shouldn't come as any surprise given both its popularity as a service and the negativity it was met with when it was announced as potentially premium only.
We’re happy to announce that the testing period for World of Warcraft's new Real ID Party system is now complete, and the feature is now officially live! We received a lot of great feedback from the community throughout the course of our testing, and we appreciate everyone taking the time to share their thoughts and experiences with us.
For those who haven't yet had a chance to try it out, the Real ID Party system allows players to invite Real ID friends of the same faction to a 5-player normal or Heroic dungeon, regardless of what realm their friends are on. This new feature makes it easier than ever for real-life friends to play together, and it's available to all World of Warcraft players at no additional charge -- all

2011/04/20 at 9:37 AM
Many players have alts, but are they geared? And how about your main, have you started raiding yet? Well, if your answer to either question was no, you're in luck. 4.1 introduces some additions that make the game more friendly and the gear gap smaller, from additional BoAs to changing valor point gains in heroics. Most importantly, 4.1 brings about the revamped 5-player dungeons Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman! The bosses from these dungeons drop ilvl 353 epic loot—potentially cutting out hours of farming heroics and doing dailies. But with so much new loot, what should you really keep an eye out for?
See how good the new loot is and also see what gear is easily obtainable before raiding right after the break!
