We’re thrilled to announce that Metallica will be performing the closing concert at BlizzCon 2014, playing before a sold-out convention crowd on the night of November 8! If you didn’t score tickets to the show, don’t worry—you can still get a front-row seat from home with the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket.

With developer panels, exclusive interviews, intense eSports tournaments, the legendary Friday night contests, and what’s sure to be an unforgettable concert from Metallica to close out the show on Saturday, this year’s event is one you won’t want to miss.

This year’s BlizzCon online merchandise sale is underway! Starting today through November 11, BlizzCon attendees and Virtual Ticket buyers can score some cool BlizzCon-premiere loot through the Blizzard Gear Store.
Hordes of blacksmiths, drones, and goblin engineers have been tirelessly working on a treasure trove of epic new items to debut at BlizzCon 2014, and the first results of their labor are available for purchase now. The store is stocked with some epic never-before-seen loot, along with some of your favorite items from BlizzCons past—check out our Facebook gallery to get a closer look at the products currently available.
To access the BlizzCon sale, simply head to the Blizzard Gear Store (gear.blizzard.com), log in, and click the BlizzCon Sale banner to start shopping!
Make sure to log in to the Gear Store using the Battle.net account you used to purchase your Virtual Ticket. If you’re attending BlizzCon in person, use the account on which you redeemed the BlizzCon Digital Bonuses code from your badge confirmation email. (If a friend bought your ticket for you, ask them for your code, then redeem it here.)
Supplies are limited, so if you’re not going to the show in person or haven’t yet purchased a Virtual Ticket, you might want to order now to get an early chance at some cool BlizzCon merchandise. We’ll also be adding new items once BlizzCon gets underway on November 7, so be sure to check back in then.
All orders will be shipped upon receipt—so the sooner you order, the faster you’ll get your BlizzCon swag. Keep in mind that orders are shipped from the United States, so international shipping rates may apply.

Free StarCraft II WCS, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone eSports Tournament Streams
Even if you don’t purchase a Virtual Ticket, you’ll still be able to catch plenty of BlizzCon action free online. Coverage of the BlizzCon opening ceremony and this year’s BlizzCon eSports tournaments—including the StarCraft II World Championship Series Global Finals, World of Warcraft Arena World Championship, Hearthstone World Championship, and Heroes of the Storm exhibition matches—will be streamed free in HD at www.blizzcon.com. The StarCraft II finals will also be available to watch at the official WCS website.
