3.3.3 PTR Patch Notes Updated!
2010/02/24 at 3:40 PM
Blizzard is already updating the Public Test Realms with a fresh new build, including some very interesting changes to the Dungeon Finder tool and Holiday bosses.
In addition, Blizzard has also included a small number of class changes and change that I know pet collectors everywhere will love -
(the Engineering-required non-combat pets) are no longer Bind-on-Pickup! Now our fellow engineers (or skilled alts) can make these lovable little explosives for any non-Engineer's collection!
Blizzard have also completely revised the way Holiday bosses (such as
) are handled. Players will now be required to use the Dungeon Finder to queue up for these special event bosses via an NPC dialog option. Upon defeating the boss, players will each receive a single loot cache containing a rare, "special" seasonal item. Players will be able to kill the boss for his other drops as many times as they'd like, but can only receive one of these seasonal goodie bags per day. Looks like the days of endlessly farming these seasonal bosses for hours on end trying to get their rarest drops (like a

New Features: Contact Tool and Heirloom Slider
2010/02/22 at 8:14 PM
Wowhead has implemented a few tasty new features!
First, we've created a whole new architecture to let users contact us. You can now use the
link found at the top of the page to contact us using the nifty lightbox pictured at the right. We've also upgraded the interface used to report comments, forum posts, screenshots, and
data, so use those report buttons!
It's also worth mentioning that the tool works even while you aren't logged in, so now you guys have no excuse not to use it!
In addition, we've also added a
to all of our
item pages — which you can drag to see the stats change as your level does.
Could it be any more convenient?
Go give them a try and let us know what you think!
