Arena Season 7 Ending Soon
2010/01/05 at 2:04 PM
According to a post by Bornakk on the official forums, Arena Season 7 will be ending as early as January 19. When that time comes around it will take one week for Blizzard to calculate who will be eligible for end-of-season rewards, such as
Relentless Gladiator's Frost Wyrm
and season titles.
We are currently planning to end Arena Season 7 as early as January 19. At that point we will go through our normal process to determine who is eligible for the end-of-season rewards. This process should take approximately one week. The following Arena Season will not begin for at least one week after the current season ends. During this time between seasons, all rated matches will be turned off and only skirmishes will be available. When Arena Season 8 begins, all team ratings, personal rating, and arena points will be wiped, but matchm

Looking Back at 2009 and Forward to 2010
2010/01/02 at 1:36 AM
Here we are, folks, right before the start of not only a new year but also a new decade. Hopefully, next year will provide us with new opportunities, new inventions, maybe even new resolutions—although, on second thought, I've really yet to meet someone dedicated to carrying out a New Year's resolution—and hopefully more happiness to everyone around the world.
Today we should take some brief time to look back on the year 2009, and take a moment to remember all the changes in our lives. It could be something as simple as getting a car. Or maybe you have a memory from something WoW-related, be it inside or outside the game itself.
What is your best memory of 2009?
Remember, you can include something WoW-related! And
what are you looking forward to when 2010 comes?
I've included a reflection of my own here, as well as one of
's. If you're interested in seeing the reflections, they are immediately after the break. :)

2009/12/31 at 5:08 PM
The fine folks over at Future US have been working on getting the first volume in the new
World of Warcraft magazine

Also touched on are stories from the past from early beta of the game, the Zombie Invasion, there is even articles on all three play styles (tanking, DPS and healing), and much more.
If that's enough to make you want to get the magazine itself (I know it is for me!) you can head over to their
and order it for yourself.
