Mists of Pandaria's First Legendary: Available for Every Class
2012/06/12 at 7:59 PM
Last month we were the first to break the news
that a legendary might be coming to Mists of Pandaria. We had a lot of speculation that legendary items would affix to equipment to enhance its stats due to
Breath of the Black Prince
, making this World of Warcraft's first legendary that every class can use!
However, nothing referenced an exact item back then. Thanks to today's datamining, though, we have a better sense of what it will be. (Keep in mind that this is still speculation, with no actual items datamined yet--just icons, quests, and items that augment ilvl.)
New icons for a legendary axe, fist, gun, dagger, mace, shield, staff and sword have been datamined in today's patch

Mists of Pandaria: Archaeology Preview
2012/06/11 at 12:31 PM
Archaeology is getting a major overhaul in Pandaria: Blizzard listened to feedback from Cataclysm and implemented a bunch of improvements. Among other changes, you can teleport to digsites, get more digs per digsites, and fight mobs that drop archaeology fragments.
We've got a list of improvements below, as well as a look at
and all the archaeology solves in Pandaria after the cut.
You get six digs at a Pandaria digsite, instead of three as usual.
The resulting item is not a white that turns into vendor trash. Instead, it is turned into a crated box--which stacks!
These crates can be redeemed with the Lorewalkers. It's not implemented yet, but there's been talk of the Lorewalkers providing your character with more dialogue and cut-scenes about the artifacts you bring to them.
You can turn in one Pandaren artifact a day for 5 Valor Points:
Uncovering the Past
Completing a dig site will sometimes spawn an

The tooltips for completed objects now helpfully point out that there's more lore in the

Scenario Previews: A Brewing Storm and Brewmoon Festival
2012/06/08 at 5:13 PM
Lore and Perculia have teamed up to give an in-depth preview of the scenarios available for testing. This first batch of scenarios centers around the Brewmasters--a group of Pandaren who take their craft very seriously and end up in the strangest predicaments on their quests for the perfect ingredients.
Currently, you must be level 90 with a minimum ilvl of 425 to queue for scenarios. You can queue up for them using the dungeon finder, either for random or specific ones.
Summary of A Brewing Storm
Up on Thunderpaw Peak, you have to help Blanche Boomer finish making her famous brew. It can only be completed in the rain, which unfortunately is the perfect weather for enraged Saurok, a race of ancient lizards created by the Mogu solely for the purpose of fighting. This scenario is very fast, with three short phases and a NPC that helps tank and heal.
You'll start the encounter by extinguishing kegs on fire and killing waves of Saurok as Blanche completes the brewing process over the course of several minutes. Blanche helps you out b
