Tectus
is an optional boss in
Highmaul
. This is a Mythic guide by top guild Method explaining the abilities, how to deal with
Tectus
, raid setup and roles, and class specific tips as well!
As announced in December,
Method is working with Wowhead
to provide Mythic raiding guides for all the bosses in
Highmaul
and
Blackrock Foundry
. Their other Highmaul guides are:
Mythic Kargath Bladefist
Mythic Twin Ogron
Mythic Brackenspore
Want to kill
Tectus
on other difficulties and see what's changed? Check out Wowhead's
Tectus Strategy Guide
.
Video
Abilities and Explanation
Tectus
(31.3mil HP)
An ancient embodiment of the chaotic forces that shaped the terrain of Draenor, Tectus has been twisted and enslaved by the maddened Pale Orcs --- who themselves barely maintain control over this imposing force of nature.
Tectus
begins the battle fully formed able to inflict full damage.
The Living Mountain
:
Tectus
is unkillable as long as he is under the affects of
The Living Mountain
.
He will periodically gain energy, with the rate of gain increasing as he loses health.
The power of
The Living Mountain
is consumed whenever
Tectus
channels
Tectonic Upheaval
, leaving him vulnerable to shattering.
Accretion
:
Tectus
periodically absorbs nearby earth into his body, increasing his damage inflicted by 5%. This effect stacks. Damaging Tectus removes stacks of
Accretion
.
On Mythic difficulty, if any other Shards or Motes of Tectus are within 10 yards of
Tectus
when he gains
Accretion
, they will also gain
Accretion
.
Earthen Pillar
:
Tectus
raises an
Earthen Pillar
from the ground. After several seconds of rumbling, the pillar will erupt from the targeted location, killing any players still standing on it.
Tectus
uses this ability when he reaches 25 Energy.
On Mythic difficulty,
Tectus
also uses this ability at 50 Energy.
Crystalline Barrage
:
Tectus
creates a cloud of crystalline blades that move towards a targeted player. Players who enter the cloud of crystalline blades suffer 162,240 Physical damage each second they remain in the cloud.
Fracture
:
Tectus
causes a short-lived spike of earth to shoot from the ground, inflicting 170,859 Nature damage to players standing where the spike erupts, and knocking them back.
Tectonic Upheaval
:
Tectus
unleashes his built up seismic instability into the earth, creating a massive series of earthquakes that each inflict 40,560 Nature damage to all players.
If Tectus's health is depleted during
Tectonic Upheaval
, he will Shatter.
Hollowed Heart of the Mountain
:
After being shattered,
Tectus
's hollowed core stands again, with a fraction of his health. Hollowed cores do not gain additional energy as their health percentage decreases.
Shard of Tectus
(19mil HP)
When shattered, the remnants of
Tectus
will form two Shards of Tectus.
Shards of Tectus share
Tectus
' abilities, but individually deal less damage.
The two Shards of Tectus have the same abilities that
Tectus
does.
Accretion
,
Crystalline Barrage
,
Fracture
,
Earthen Pillar
,
Tectonic Upheaval
,
Hollowed Shard of the Mountain
(same as
Hollowed Heart of the Mountain
) and
Shard of the Mountain
(same as
The Living Mountain
)
Mote of Tectus
(4.75mil HP)
When shattered, the remnants of each
Shard of Tectus
will form four Motes of Tectus.
Motes of Tectus do not need to be shattered. Players are victorious over
Tectus
after they have killed all of the Motes of Tectus.
Mote of Tectus
:
The Motes of Tectus can be killed outright. However they still gain energy and will cast
Tectonic Upheaval
upon reaching 100 energy.
The eight Motes of Tectus have the following abilities being exactly the same as the ones
Tectus
/ Shards of Tectus have:
Crystalline Barrage
,
Fracture
,
Earthen Pillar
,
Tectonic Upheaval
. The only difference is at the
Accretion
ability. The Mythic part of it does not apply for the Motes of Tectus, meaning that they won't give energy to each other when they are within 10yds.
Night-Twisted Pale
While Tectus is fully formed,
Night-Twisted Pale
will attempt to enter the fight, empowering
Tectus
and attacking players.
In Mythic difficulty, Night-Twisted pale continue to attack after
Tectus
is shattered.
Night-Twisted Earthwarper
(2.23mil HP)
Gift of Earth
:
Creates a swirling vortex of earth in an attempt to empower
Tectus
.
If the vortex reaches
Tectus
, he will gain 10 stacks of
Accretion
.
Players may intercept the vortex - if they do, they suffer 235875 to 274125 Physical damage and are afflicted with
Petrification
.
Petrification
:
A player's skin begins to turn to stone after intercepting the
Gift of Earth
.
A petrified player's movement speed is reduced by 2%, and
Tectus
will absorb their petrification whenever he makes a melee attack against them, granting him stacks of
Accretion
and healing him.
Earthen Flechettes
:
Raises
Earthen Flechettes
from the ground, inflicting 239,811 Nature damage to all enemies within a cone in front of the caster.
Night-Twisted Berserker
(2.23mil HP)
Raving Assault
:
The Berserker is afflicted with temporary insanity, forgetting their current target, clearing all threat, and dashing towards a random player.
The Berserker inflicts 100,386 Physical damage to targets caught in the path of the dash.
Execution
Tectus
has a 10min Enrage Timer. The Enrage Timer doesn't really matter for
Tectus
, since if everything goes according to plan, the fight should last only 4-5min.
You can theoretically say that the fight has three phases. Phase 1 is when only
Tectus
is alive until you kill him. Phase 2 is when you fight the two Shards of Tectus and the original
Tectus
in his ‘
Hollowed Heart of the Mountain
' form. Phase 3 is the last phase where you kill the eight Motes of Tectus and the two Shards of Tectus in their ‘
Hollowed Shard of the Mountain
' form.
The most important element of this fight is room management (where you spawn the pillars) and overall raid dps in order to kill off
Tectus
and his Shards within their first cast of
Tectonic Upheaval
.
Setup
Tanks: 2
You only need 2 tanks for this fight. It doesn't really matter which classes, but you should have a
Death Knight
in the raid, so unless you have a dps
Death Knight
, make sure you have one of your tanks be one.
The reason is because you want to kill the
Night-Twisted Earthwarper
s before they get any casts of
Gift of Earth
or
Earthen Flechettes
off, so using a grip to bring them fast in the melee camp is crucial.
Healers: 3-4
Depending on your dps, you can go with either 3 or 4 healers for this fight.
The reason why you need so few healers is because there should only be need for tank healing if you have enough dps (will explain later in this guide).
In terms of classes,
Holy Paladin
s and Resto Druids are pretty good for the third Phase of the fight, which is the most hectic one.
Paladin
s can use
Divine Shield
/
Hand of Protection
, and
Druid
s can do decent healing while moving, which is what you do all the time in that phase. Also Druids can do decent dps in phase 1 and 2 if needed.
DPS: 14-15
Dps is very important for the execution of this fight. You need to make sure you have enough to kill
Tectus
and the Shards of Tectus while they cast
Tectonic Upheaval
for the first time, preferably kill them without them casting it for more than 1-2sec to minimize raid damage.
You also need some good cleave / AoE damage for the last phase, since there will be 10 targets to kill within ~30sec.
In order to achieve that you need to make sure to have both good single target and AoE dps.
Phase 1
Before you pull the Boss, all ranged dps and healers should be grouped up at the entrance of the room (entrance being the stairs closer to the Twin Ogrons Portal. )
The reason why you want them all grouped up is because the
Earthen Pillar
s spawn underneath a random ranged dps or healer and since they don't despawn in Mythic difficulty, you want to control where they spawn in order to have enough space for the whole fight.
As you can see in the picture, the boss should be tanked at the Skull Marker and the ranged camp starts at the Diamond Marker. Once the first
Earthen Pillar
spawns, the ranged camp moves to the Circle Marker (right next to the previous Pillar. The ranged camp will keep moving clockwise every time an
Earthen Pillar
spawns for the whole fight.
When Tectus casts
Crystalline Barrage
on a ranged dps or healer, that player will need to move clockwise ASAP.
It is important to move fast in order to not have the red lines come in the ranged camp, as they can kill someone in less than a second.
If you have any blink or speed buff, make sure to use it (and don't finish your cast before moving!!! :D).
Because of the fact that the
Crystalline Barrage
s start spawning from the Boss, it is vital that
Tectus
is being tanked facing towards the ranged camp. That way, the melee dps will never get hit from it. Of course, the tanks need to watch out themselves to not get hit, but it is always easier to have one person being careful than 5+.
As for the Night-Twisted adds, since the Earthwarpers are very deadly if they get a cast of
Earthen Flechettes
off, they need to be instantly Death Gripped in the melee camp and killed fast. Always have a designated stunner (ret paladin or rogue, ideally) in case they start casting, since it is the only way to interrupt them.
The Berserkers are not that important and can pretty much be semi-ignored. Just make sure that they are taunted before they kill some poor healer and are cleaved down on top of the Boss.
As long as you handle the above properly and you have good enough dps, you should be killing
Tectus
before he finishes the first cast of
Tectonic Upheaval
. Make sure that you are still gathered in a ranged and a melee camp and use one raid cooldown if needed to survive.
Phase 2
Phase 2 is not much different than Phase 1.
As soon as you have killed
Tectus
for the first time, keep nuking him, since he will respawn at 25% health and you want to kill him before he reaches 25 energy. If you don't he will spawn another
Earthen Pillar
, limiting your space and causing unnecessary raid movement.
After Tectus is killed for good, it is basically Phase 1 again, only this time you have everything times two.
For the
Earthen Pillar
s the ranged camp now needs to split in two groups, half being at the Diamond Marker and the rest at the Square Marker.
If the dps on the two Shards of Tectus is relatively equal (it should be), then the two
Earthen Pillar
s will spawn around the same time and they should spawn on top of each Marker. As soon as they do, the ranged camps move to the
Circle
and Triangle Marker and repeat the same process for the second wave of Pillars.
If you are limited in terms of room due to
Crystalline Barrage
s, then you can always just have the whole ranged camp be grouped up at one spot and when the Pillars spawn use a
Stampeding Roar
and just outrun them clockwise.
The
Crystalline Barrage
is still handled the same way as in Phase 1.
Just be careful because now that there are two Tectuses, it means that there will be two
Crystalline Barrage
s, and it is possible that they target the same player.
Because of the fact that the debuff timer isn't really accurate for some reason, be alarmed to not assume it is over before it actually is (trust your eyes, not your debuff tracker addon!).
The Night-Twisted adds should be handled in the same way as in Phase 1.
Make sure that both of the Shards of Tectus die within their first cast of
Tectonic Upheaval
. It is really important that they both die at the same time.
If one of them heals up, it will make Phase 3 much more hectic and it most likely means a wipe.
Try to always keep an eye on both of the Shards of Tectus' hp and balance it out throughout the whole Phase.
Use any raid cooldowns you have to survive the double
Tectonic Upheaval
s, as you won't need any raid healing for Phase 3.
Phase 3
Phase 3 is a very fast and chaotic phase. It should only last around 30-45sec and it is when you want to use every dps cooldown you have.
The two Shards of Tectus will respawn at 25% health, together with 8 Motes of Tectus.
At this point you want them gathered up ASAP from the tanks so that the raid can start aoeing them down.
Use Bloodlust/
Heroism
as soon as the Motes have spawned.
The tanks will take a lot of damage in this phase, so they need to make sure that they have a good rotation of cooldowns in order to survive (ask for external cooldowns from the healers / warriors / ret paladins).
The first thing that will happen are the
Crystalline Barrage
s, and yes there will be 10 of them! Basically almost every ranged dps / healer will get one.
This means that the ranged can't be gathered up anymore, so they should spread out clockwise, without going too far away. Think of it as an arc spread, but the arc doesn't go all the way behind the Bosses, because then the
Crystalline Barrage
s will be all over the melee camp, making it impossible to hit the Bosses and probably dying.
Now in order to limit how much the
Crystalline Barrage
spreads around, if a player gets it that has some sort of immunity, then they should use it (
Deterrence
,
Divine Shield
, etc) and stand still. This will help the rest of the raid have more room to move around. It is also important to give
Hand of Protection
s to at least a couple of healers so that they can stand still and keep the tanks alive while all of this movement is happening.
When the Motes of Tectus are at 20 energy, it means that the 8
Earthen Pillar
s are about to spawn.
It is crucial that the ranged players are all spread but also close to the edges of the room, making the initial Pillars spawn away from the middle.
Once the first wave of them has spawned, they can move slightly more towards the middle and spawn the second wave there.
To be honest, it will never be perfect, and you will probably have someone spawn a bad Pillar, but as long as the general idea of spawning them outside is followed, the one or two bad Pillars shouldn't cause a wipe.
The only thing that could cause a wipe is the raid getting cut off due to a series of bad Pillar spawns.
Lastly, you need to keep in mind that the Night-Twisted adds will keep spawning even in Phase 3, which means that the Earthwarpers are still very high priority targets.
Hopefully they can get Death Gripped on top of the Motes of Tectus and AoEd down fast enough, but regardless you should be targeting them and making sure they are killed and stunned just like in Phase 1 and 2.
To help yourself target them in the whole mess, you can use this macro: /tar
Night-Twisted Earthwarper
.
Make sure to keep your eyes open for the
Earthen Pillar
s and you should have no problem downing this boss. Don't worry, fight is over before you realize it! Literally, sometimes you will be surprised that the Boss is dead already :)
Class Tips
Windwalker Monk
:
Both
Rushing Jade Wind
and
Chi Explosion
are worth using because this fight is all about killing the boss fast in the last phase!
DPS Warrior
:
Save rage to
Execute
adds with
Sweeping Strikes
active.
Rogue
:
Try to time your
Bandit's Guile
Red Phase to start when Phase 3 starts. You can delay it by using
Revealing Strike
s.
Hunter
:
Use Aspect of the Fox when the
Earthen Pillar
s spawn to avoid your casters interrupting their casts.
Warlock
:
Warlock only has two viable specs on this fight: demo with
Cataclysm
, or destro with
Charred Remains
.
Make sure to save everything for the last phase, including both
Dark Soul
charges.
Remember you can use your
Demonic Circle: Teleport
when you have the Crystalline to move out quicker.
Good luck and feel free to ask any questions below, I will be happy to answer them.

Fishing's Filleting Change Semi-Reverted
If you watched the show or were otherwise aware of the changes to Filleting proposed for patch 6.1, you'll want to read Community Manager Crithto's post below. He's explaining that, thanks to feedback from the community, Blizzard has decided to make auto-filleting a temporary buff that you can choose to apply or not.
Crithto
Thank you all for your feedback regarding the auto-fillet change that was set for Patch 6.1. Based on your sentiment, we've gone ahead and made a change we hope will be beneficial for all anglers.
In 6.1, rather than have fish auto-fillet as you catch them, we're adding a new consumable item called the Bladebone Hook which when used, will enable auto-filleting for one hour. This new item can be purchased from fishing vendors in Draenor.
Just a couple notes: Despite the tooltip, you won't need a fishing pole to use this item, and it won't overwrite your lure, bait, fishing line, or anything else.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us!
Bait Catching Changes Reverted
In a follow up to his earlier post, Crithto has let players know that the changes to Bait catching have also been reverted!
Crithto
I have a few more updates for you guys regarding bait which I'm sure you'll appreciate. These are also slated to be in Patch 6.1 so please be sure to test it out on the PTR and give us your
feedback
.
We're reverting the change where bait would spoil.
Reverting the change where bait could not be caught in your garrison; Nat Pagle will still grant you the bait of your choice (because Nat Pagle).
Bait duration is now 10 minutes (up from 5) to mirror the duration of lures.

Class Changes
Talent Balance
Developer Commentary: A primary focus for class changes in Patch 6.1 is improving overall talent balance. Not every talent needs to be useful in every situation; and in fact it's often better if they have strengths and weaknesses. But we do try to have each talent be useful in some situations, and make them close enough in value that if you really enjoy the gameplay of a talent you don't feel like you're dragging your group down by using it.For these changes we focused primarily on tuning (tweaking numbers), and nearly all changes are buffs to underperforming talents. While the new blood elf models are the highlight of this 6.1 PTR build, there are several other developments we tested when the realms came back up. We snapped some pictures with
S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera
, built the jukebox in game and previewed all the sound tracks, and found a tribute to the 2014 BlizzCon Costume Contest winner,
Grand Empress Pydarter
.
Blackrock Foundry Partially Open On PTR This Weekend
Lead Game Designer Ion "Watcher" Hazzikostas has

Photos
We completed
Field Photography
on the 6.1 PTR today and received the basic
S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera
. This is a mission with a 100% chance of success, and it's not rare, so it may be fairly easy to obtain!
When
S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera
is clicked on, it opens a special camera mode. Your character makes faces at the camera, just like an IRL selfie, with their arm extending off the screen.
There are two buttons:
Take Selfie
: This captures your screen--perfect to send to Twitter once that's integrated into WoW in 6.1!
Cancel Selfie Camera
: Exit Selfie mode.
With the
Lens Some Hands
mission, players can upgrade
S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera
to
S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera MkII
and receive three more filter options. We'll update this post if we get lucky with our missions.
:
Enables a sketch filter for your S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera.

Garrison Jukebox
Players are now building the Garrison Jukebox on the PTR and you collect the Music Rolls in unique ways! We've also found all the sound files for the Garrison music, have a listen below!
After completing
Bringing the Bass
you're rewarded with
Stash of Dusty Music Rolls
and your jukebox. For the Horde, this contains music for the Horde factions:
Music Roll: Orgrimmar
,
Music Roll: Thunder Bluff
,
Music Roll: Undercity
,
Music Roll: Zul'Gurub Voodoo
,
Music Roll: Silvermoon
,
Music Roll: Rescue the Warchief
,
Music Roll: Way of the Monk
.
You then receive hints as to where the other
Music Rolls
can be farmed. Some hints are:
Music Roll: Heart of Pandaria
: Conquering feat itself will help you glimpse the Heart of Pandaria, musically speaking, of course.
Finding classic tracks takes hard work, and sometimes that means flying on the back of a colossal, cataclysmic dragon. Them's the breaks.
Deep in the heart of Blackrock Depths is a track so legendary, it takes two dragons to protect it.
Music Roll: The Black Temple
: Up for a journey into the Black Temple? You still won't be prepared for the hard hitting bass of the track you'll find.
Feeling a song of war? Domination Point in Pandaria used to shake with heavy drum beats.
Ongrom Black Tooth
then sells
Music Roll: War March
for 500
Domination Point Commission
.

Fishing Changes
Elsanglin
, as always, has been researching the latest fishing changes:
As shown in the datamining yesterday, fish now auto-fillet when caught, such as
Fire Ammonite
. Previous fish in your inventory can be filleted one at a time instead of requiring a stack, such as
Enormous Jawless Skulker
. On the downside, you'll be doing a lot of clicking if you've kept a ton of fish stacks in your bank.
There is a new
Sea Scorpion Lunker
. Currently this type of fish on live does not have a Lunker variety, meaning it cannot be turned into
Nat Pagle
for
Nat's Lucky Coin
. So in 6.1, there will be a new fish for
Nat's Lucky Coin
.
New datamined versions of
Bait
last for only 15 minutes, but increase your chance of catching that fish for 10 minutes. Example:
Jawless Skulker Bait
. In addition, you can ask
Nat Pagle
for a buff at your Garrison.
2014 Costume Contest Tribute
The winner of the 2014 BlizzCon Costume Contest,
CosplayPy
was honored in game with a touching tribute.
She dressed up as
Grand Empress Shek'zeer
, the final boss in
Heart of Fear
. Sadly she twisted her ankle and broke part of her costume so not many people got to see it at BlizzCon 2014.
Her in-game tribute starts off as a Sha-touched Spirte Darter,
Pydarter
, which pays tribute to one of her past costumes. There is the following dialogue:
<The faerie dragon looks sad.>
How are you?
Oh, I've had better nights...I was working on a beautiful enchantment for months and months but no one got to see it! Hey, would YOU like to see it?
Sure, why not?
At this point, the sprite darter transforms into
Grand Empress Pydarter
and thanks you:
Grand Empress Pydarter says: BEHOLD! My wondrous creation! Convincing isn't it?
Grand Empress Pydarter says: Thanks for taking a moment to appreciate my hard work. It really makes me happy!
Check out more photos of her costume on her

Garrison Campaign and January 21st Hotfixes, Thisalee Crow and Choluna Clarification

Garrison Campaign Hotfix
A hotfix will be applied in the next scheduled maintenance that aims to fix characters who are "stuck" on Garrison Campaigns
They *are* trying though. I've never even sent a ticket, only posted here on the forums and a GM has logged into my toon several times so far. It isn't that they aren't trying. I think the issue is the bug isn't happening to everyone - so it's hard to track what's causing it(could be more then 1 'trigger' even).
Folks like you, Xiata, were part of the reason why we've been making progress so thank you for letting us take a peek at your character!
Please blizz fix this!
That's exactly what we're doing and I can now report we have a hotfix that's in the pipe and is designed address the issue. It looks like some of you have already picked it up, but for those that have not, hang in there until the next scheduled maintenance when it can be fully applied to the game. Why some have been able to move on and others have not, well, that's above my pay grade but as you can see, we're on it. =)
Appreciate everybody's patience!!
New PTR Build Incoming
Blizzard QA has also tweeted that there is a new PTR build coming today. There has also been some speculation on what class changes to expect in this build.
January 21st hotfixes are here, scroll down for the full list!
Thisalee Crow / Choluna
and
Thisalee Crow / Choluna
Thisalee Crow / Choluna
(Alliance) or
Thisalee Crow / Choluna
(Horde) are now awarded when completing
Primal Fury
for the Garrison campaign.
There has also been a post on these follower issues from Blizzard QA Zorbrix.
Essentially, players should now receive the followers as expected following today's restart.
If you completed the quest before the restart, they're working on getting the follower sent to you.
Zorbrix
To clarify, now that US realms have restarted this morning, going forward players who complete the quest chain now should receive Choluna or Thisalee Crow as a quest reward as intended. If you completed the quest today (Thursday 1/22) and didn't receive the follower, please let me know, as that may be an indication something with our fix didn't work correctly.
Players who completed the quest before this morning's restarts (most of the people in this thread, for example) need a separate, retroactive fix to get the follower sent to you. This requires some work and additional testing, and is tentatively scheduled for next week.
There were also some spell fixes as well as a notable change to
Mastery: Weapons Master
for Arms warriors--it was nerfed as its effects were overtuned.
Finally, potions and flasks from earlier expansions should no longer be more powerful than ones from later expansions. Bit of a delay, but it's finally balanced!
We also posted Method's
Mythic Brackenspore Guide
earlier today, be sure to
check it out

Method's Video and Written Strategy Guide to Mythic Brackenspore
posted

by
perculia
Brackenspore
is one of the three optional bosses in
Highmaul
. In terms of difficulty, you should probably be looking to tackle him as your 3rd or 4th boss depending on how good your interrupters and healers are. This is a guide explaining the boss abilities, how to deal with the boss, raid setup and roles, and class specific tips by various Method players as well!
As announced in December,
Method is working with Wowhead
to provide Mythic raiding guides for all the bosses in
Highmaul
and
Blackrock Foundry
.

Wowhead Weekly Returns with Episode 21, Garrison Campaign Follower Rewards, Garona Weapon Models
posted
by
oliviadgrace
Wowhead Weekly is back! We've returned from our break, with a recorded show. Wowhead Weekly is a World of Warcraft podcast with Wowhead Site Manager Perculia and Olivia, where they discuss all things Warlords of Draenor, Wowhead, and more!
Wowhead Weekly is sponsored by
Full Sail University
. If you’ve ever considered working behind the scenes to create video games,
Full Sail University
offers programs that can prepare you for a future in the industry. Whether you’re interested in coding, art, producing, or mobile game development, there’s a game degree program at
Full Sail University
that can teach you the tools, technology, and workflow used by today’s studios.
Wowhead Weekly
This week they're discussing:
The 10th Anniversary Statue
Heirloom Upgrades on the Patch 6.1PTR
The Garrison Jukebox - allowing you to collect new music to play in your Garrison
!
You can track your toybox on Wowhead!
Patch 6.1 PTR - perma-Pepe, new Mount, Raiding with Leashes
New followers:
Garona, a Legendary Rogue; and Harrison Jones
More Garrison news from the PTR: spending resources, UI improvements, Mission updates, World Boss invasions, Materials conversion
Wowhead Weekly will be doing two shows this week to celebrate our return, so check back on the weekend for more!
Garrison Campaign Rewards
Perculia's been looking into Garrison Campaign Rewards. This week players can complete the final step of the Garrison Campaign quest series, earning some great follower items.
The Blademaster's Necklace
: Raise a follower to epic-quality. Epic followers have two abilities and three traits.
Sanketsu
: Sets your follower's weapon to ilvl 655.
The in-game quest page says you will get
Thisalee Crow / Choluna
as a follower, but users are reporting they are not getting this. A fix is in the works:
Blizzard
Specifically, players who have already completed the quest will be given the faction-appropriate follower after the next realm restarts; players who have not completed the quest will correctly earn the faction-appropriate follower upon completion.
Edit: Just received this info from developers to pass along and add to Zorbrix's post. =)
Completing all steps of the questline rewards you with
The Garrison Campaign
(
A
).
To learn everything about the Garrison Campaign from quests to rewards, check out our
Garrison Campaign Guide
.
Garona Follower Model Has Weapons At Different Levels
You can now check out some follower models with weapon variations on the
PTR version of Wowhead
.
Clicking over to the follower page for
Legendary follower Garona Halforcen
, for example, allows you to view her with her basic weapos, as well as with her mid range ilvl 645 weapons and her ilvl 660 high end weapons.
This is only currently available on a few followers but we're rolling this out to more and more as the data is added! Click on the image to enlarge it.
