The transmute recipes for river's heart, sun's radiance, imperial amethyst, vermilion onyx, and wild jade are obtained when you make alchemy potions/elixirs/transmutes that were obtained through research (through making alchemist's rejuvenation). It should be noted you are much less likely to obtain a new discovery through making a gray recipe (ex., alchemist's rejuvenation) than one that is orange (while this may seem obvious, there is that note on the alchemist's rejuvenation panel that says you have a chance to learn new recipes while making it, which may lead you to think you're relatively likely to get a discovery despite it being gray. So that's true, but it's a very low chance (I did once get a discovery while it was gray) - you're much more likely to learn new stuff by making higher level things). I stupidly made many alchemist's rejuvenation potions (which was gray at the time) without getting a single discovery, then made like one or two flasks of falling leaves (which was orange at the time) and discovered the living steel transmute. So if this is obvious, sorry! But - if I was being dumb, I gather there probably are others like that out there as well =)

Go to your alchemist trainer and learn "Alchemist's Rejuvenation" recipe. It will be green at level 525.
Create it using 1x Crystal Vial and 1x Green Tea Leaf. (The Green Leaf Tea cost 1g70s each on my server's AH)
As you create this item you can learn new MoP recipes. Note the names of these for later use.
At Alchemist level 535 the item turns grey so you should stop creating this recipe.
Now create one of the MoP recipes you learnt from above.
Eventually you will learn this recipe.
