From a pure mastery (block buff) standpoint, these appear to be the BiS for tankadins, as you ding 85 and work on your pre-raid set.

Though the icon shows a Cataclysm-like reddish glow, the boots oddly have a different, frozen-like bluish one.

While I can see that these are, clearly, tank boots, would it be worth it to purchase and reforge these for DPS ( For an Unholy DK, for instance ) as one heads in to raiding?

Using Consider's Stat weights, If you reforge the parry to haste, and ignore the socket bonus, these boots will be BiS till raiding.

I highly suggest any Ret pallies to pick this up over 346 boots. If I remember correctly, it was about a ~50 STR upgrade for me. That amount of strength is going to be better than any other stat you may have on "dps" boots. Get a pair of these, reforge the parry, and toss in a Bold Inferno Ruby for good times (until Blackwing Descent RNG drop is nice to you).

Anyone know if there are 359 ilevel boots (for Horde) that will match the Warrior T11 set?

The Wowhead profiler shows the Alliance version (Gryphon Rider's Boots) as matching the Warrior T11 exactly, while these boots match the Death Knight T11 set.

are these boots glitched? because I removed a from them and replaced it with a to get a little over 400 hp to push myself from 159.6k over the 160k HP mark.

upon socketing it, my health dropped from 159.6k down to 158.7k -- how the hell do you lose 1000 HP from breaking the socket color and adding +30 stamina? I'd really like to figure this out, if anyone happens to know.. =/
