Obviously a reference to the Warlock Dungeon Set 1 item the Dreadmist Robe, complete with the same cool purplish looks!

Obviously, a great item for any leveling cloth-user (Priest, Warlock, Mage), as you get the experience bonus along the same lines as the shoulder pieces, in addition to having a permanent "blue" in your chest slot.

One of the 6 new Bind on Account chest pieces being added in patch 3.2.0

The 10% exp from these all (supposedly) stack with the BoA shoulders. A blue did post this in the forums, but hey, we're talking about Blizzard. You can't trust everything they say.

I personally hope they add a feral druid / hunter staff / polearm & a couple of shields for both tanks and healers, which I am sure they will but as I post this comment its only been no more than.. 1 week? since PTR release.

Currently on PTR these chest items are bought with 40 X emblems of Heroism
and a few gold but i think the gold is a PH price

You can buy them with EoH and a small amount of gold (saw 2-4 gold) although, this is the PTR and may change.

Currently the best enchants for Heirloom chest-pieces are:

Enchant Chest - Greater Stats (40 HP, 65 Mana. Works at all levels)

Enchant Chest - Major Health ~~(Does not give its benefit until level 30 according to the comments)~~ Now works properly.

Enchant Chest - Major Mana ~~(May or may not give its benefit before level 30, need to test)~~ Now works properly.

Blue Post states:

Assuming you are eligible for all of the new dailies being added to the Argent Tournament -- meaning you have championed all primary factions and reached exalted with them as well as with the Argent Crusade and Silver Covenant/Sunreavers -- and plan on doing Trial of the Champion, the 5-player Crusaders' Coliseum dungeon on Heroic mode, the maximum number of Champion's Seals you can obtain in a single day will be 15 after patch 3.2 hits, not including any lucky Champion's Seal drops in the Champion's Purse.

Here is a breakdown of the costs of some of the Argent Tournament rewards in 3.2:

Argent Crusader's Tabard: 50 seals
Argent Pony Bridle (for your squire): 150 seals

Enchant Chest - Major Health (Does not give its benefit until level 30 according to the comments)

This is infact true. Blizzard changed this, the twink-used health enchant, so that you would not get its effect before level 30. So I would not say it will " will work without issue."

Stats from 1-80 in 10lvl jumps. I make no guarantee the numbers are 100% correct though.

It is confirmed that the piece bonuses DO stack. I tested on equal level mobs receiving 1334xp with neither item equipped, 1468xp with the boa shoulders equipped, and 1600xp with the boa shoulders/chest equipped.

Had a little problem with this...

This item (along with other chest pieces, new weapons and all the old ones) is sold at Argent Tournament, in the crusader's tent, near the new quest givers by the new quartermaster for Champin's Seals.

This can also be purchased from the new "Heirloom Vendor" located in the same place as your faction's Emblem of Heroism / Valor / Conquest / Triumph Quartermasters

If you plan on levelling multiple caster classes this seems to be the most logical choice for universally wearable caster heirloom gear.
Getting the plate or leather versions will only offer more armor and of course, cloth wearing classes wont be able to wear your spellpower plate or leather. If you want a cheap solution, just throw on the cloth.

The entire list of spellcaster heirloom's are as follows:

Dignified Headmaster's Charge - 65 Emblem of Heroism or 95 Champion's Seal
Tattered Dreadmist Mantle - 40 Emblem of Heroism or Champion's Seal
Tattered Dreadmist Robe - 40 Emblem of Heroism or 60 Champion's Seal
Discerning Eye of the Beast - 50 Emblem of Heroism or 75 Champion's Seal

As you'll probably want 2 Discerning Eye of the Beast it will make the total cost:
245 Emblem of Heroism or 365 Champion's Seal

For those leveling a pvp mage in style:

These are surpassed by the easy to obtain Frostsavage Robe at level 78.

I highly recommend the +100HP enchant to chest. The stamina is godly at the lower levels, and the the +4 stats (which is really +4 intellect, +4 stamina for mages) is weaker at all levels imho.

I wound up replacing this with Raiments of the Titans from HoL on my priest. Just thought I'd post this since what I originally came here to find out was where I should head to get an upgrade. Hope this was useful to someone. >.<

One nagging thing with this robe for my priest I'm leveling. It seems like any wrist you have on closes up the open end of the robes wrists, making it look less robe like. I'd sooner have an option to hide this effect, rather then not having to use wrists.

Also, another important note. It is NOT a mere 348 JP as Wowhead suggests. It is actually 2175 JP. Quite a big difference. Shoulders cost the same.

All non Catalysm BoA gear stops working at lvl 80. Neither will it work at lvl 81 and above.

Yes, assuming they're both on the same server. Otherwise, you still can, but you need to transfer servers first, since mail is only intra-server.

I've tested the level 80 heirlooms at quest turn-ins, and as of 4.2, they no longer give an experience bonus once level 80 has been reached.

This is false.
Your information is out of date. Anyone can confirm your information is wrong by having a level 80 character with any of the 1-80 heirlooms (shoulders, chest piece, or Dread Pirate Ring). Before turning in a quest, compare the value of experience awarded with heirlooms equipped. Close the dialog box without turning in the quest, remove the heirlooms, and then go to complete the quest. The experience award will be the same.

Compare this to turning in the quest with and without the 1-85 heirlooms (helm, cloak or legs as of patch 5.0). Removing those heirlooms, closing the dialog box, and then viewing the quest rewards will show a smaller experience reward because the 1-85 heirlooms are the only heirlooms that increase the experience gain for a level 80 because of a change made during patch 4.1 or 4.2.

BOA Gear:
I have talked to a GM and found out the following from them...

Can not be transferred to ther Servers even though it is Binds to Battle.net Account
You can transfer it between the opposing, as long as it is the same Server
If you have multiple WOW accounts you can transfer them to another one of you Characters as long as it is the same Server

I wish since it was BOA you could move you BOA gear to another Server, the only was to do so is to have it on your Character and transfer them ($25.00 US) to the Server that you desire to have them on.

As of 5.2, the Level 80 Heirloom weapons and armor can be upgraded to scale up to level 85

Cost is the original item and either Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets, JP (for heirlooms purchasable with JP) or Honor (for PvP itemized heirlooms purchased with honor)

1-H Weapons: 2175 Honor/JP or 110 Darkmoon Faire Tickets
2-H Weapons: 3500 Honor/JP or 130 Darkmoon Faire tickets
Armor: 2175 Honor/JP or 110 Darkmoon Faire tickets
Trinkets: 2725 Honor/JP or 130 Darkmoon Faire Tickets

For me to get this set, already having the helm and the pants, it took me about 13 scholomance runs. i found out by adding the valor of the three items i needed, the heirloom staff, this robe, and the shoulder pads. i then divided it by 120, because you get 120 jp from each heroic boss, then i divided that by 5 because there is 5 bosses in scholomance, and i got 13.

If you're leveling a new rogue or shaman and this is all you have for chest heirlooms - but don't want to wear "a dress", put it on them and transmog it into Disciples Vest, or any other low level green cloth vest
