Dropped on my rogue when bonus rolled. 855 warforged. Though i dont see the haste being very good stat overall.

The proc is called Blood Frenzy, and is activating for me in Guardian spec despite not being in the drop list.

This item is actually for all hunter specs, even it says in tooltip "melee attacks" .
Tooltip is bugged.
Could be even BiS trinket for MM hunter

Others have mentioned that the trinket also works for ranged attacks. Please also notice the spell effect, which says the following:

Apply Aura: Mod Rating (Melee haste rating, Ranged haste rating, Spell haste rating)

"Spell haste rating" - I'd imagine druids, monks and shamans might find this particularly useful as there's a mix of both melee and casting involved with several specs.

It's apparent this works for BM/MM hunters, but since the tooltip specifies "melee", has any ranged hunter confirmed if this can be bonus rolled?

Now the trinket works as it is supposed to : Your ranged and melee attacks have a chance to increase your Haste by 3626 for 10 sec. This effect occurs more often against targets at low health.

ps, at least for hunters :)
