This can be fished even with low levels of fishing, but don't expect to get it within 5 minutes.

It can be fished multiple times, stacks and disappears when used.

When you throw it at someone they get an "Awesome!" buff for 24 hours. After throwing 20 of these fish you will receive the Awesome Achievement

My vision for Everything Is Awesome! is to wait until my raid group has wiped for the umpteenth time, and then to rapid-fire smack 20 of them with Awesomefish as a moral boost! This is gonna be totally awesome!

The buff from this fish can stack. Someone pelted me with one when I already had the buff active and it stacked to 2. Not sure how high it goes.

Follow-up: Got it stacked to 20 on a guildmate before depleting my stock.

These can also come from the other fish that you Gut and Clean to make the Flesh.

It is worth noting that for the achievement you must allot time to spend 10 minutes spreading awesome.

Due to the 60 second cooldown you should probably just take them on your journeys with you.

These can be thrown on npcs.

Sigh.... You can't put a cooldown on awesome!

Throw it on that awesome tank stranger! As a healer, I've squeed of joy when someone I never met before slapped one of these on me on a dungeon run. Going an entire day smelling awesome after a job well done feels great. So throw the Awesomefish at friends, but also make sure to save some for that super PuG party member that saves the day!

Its actually not a buff, but a debuff... think about it! Maybe it translates into an interpretation like this: if you litterally need to spell it out how awesome you are, maybe its not healthy, but a kind of sickness? No matter what, like most debuffs it can actually be removed with ice block.

Apparently, throwing a fish at the back of somebody's head tells them that you think they're awesome. I must remember this and apply it in real life.
