Well. I got a problem with 'taunting'.
Always when I raid/going instances, everyone tells me to turn off 'taunt'. And I dont know how to do that, since my @#$%ing pet does it by himself :S
ty for help!
It's growl. Just turn off auto-casting + put pet on passive.
Each pet ability that's activated is usually highlighted in Yellow. In this case, your pet ability 'Growl' is activated.
Most likely this ability is on your pet action bar, its a matter of right clicking it, to un-activate it. If this pet ability isn't on your action bar (you should definitely put it there), then you'll need to go to your Spell Book, click on the Pet Tab, and un-activate it from there.
Off topic, besides Raids, Dungeons, and Group Quests, it is also beneficial to turn Growl off during Arenas, Battlegrounds, and general PVP. Because Growl is a waste of Focus for your pet, when it could be using Focus on its other pet abilities.
I hope this helps!
My pet is on passive. Where do I turn of auto-casting? :)
Oh yeah, its like a yellow line going around the growl, i took it off, should it work better now? :)
Ummm....read my 2nd paragraph.
Yes...should not be taunting now. Be sure to put 'growl' on your action bar.
The party your with doesn't mean Taunt (the pet talent or the Warrior spell), they mean your pet is autocasting Growl. You need to turn it off autocasting to accomplish this.
