I'm curious what casting rotations other priests use in raids. Considering there is a balance of paladins/shaman/druids/priests in the raid, what are some favorite rotations that other priests have used?

Uh I think having a "rotation" is retarded. There's no singular "rotation" of spells that's going to work for every situation. You change your spell casts based on the situation that very second, not on some concrete cycle of spells you just mindlessly go through like a hunter or a mage (which I do play as well). And even in those cases, the situation differs per fight and on what's happening. Don't nail yourself down by making a rotation...
Keep up PoM's, Renews, and don't let anybody you're responsible for die.

I concur. You're not DPS, so there is not any one way to heal. It depends on the fight and the people you're grouped with, hence heals can be very situational. There are things you'll find yourself doing before/during every fight (PoM, renew, etc), but as far as a set rotation--no.
I'd look at
this thread
for some good discussion on what to use and when.

When healing a tank always keep up
Renew
.
But not before the fight starts! Do yourself a favour and use
Prayer of Mending
on the tank. It will increase their threat level when it heals.
And as a rule you only get threat for the health you heal, not the healing points you cast. Which means keeping your tank topped up is better than waiting for a 40% health defecit to occur "just to make your Greater Heal" worth it, becuase thats some nice chunk of threat you will inherit there.
Better to use renews after the tank has initially pulled aggro and the PoM has proc'd. It will help reduce the deficit you need to heal thereby reducing any potential threat you will gain.

The prayer of mending trick is absolutely superb. If you time it right, you can get two POMs within a few seconds on the tank for initial aggro. Another priest can also do the same (and I actually recommend getting shadow priests to do this too while they wait for threat). With a couple of hunter MDs as well, you can start off with an initial 20K+ of threat for the tank, meaning the DPS can open up immediately and won't have to dump their aggro until 70%.
