Hello,
I just recently did a clean install of Windows 10, have everything set up and up to date with wow, but now I'm trying to get the Wowhead client set up and I'm running into a problem:
It appears to have found my World of Warcraft directory immediately after it first loaded. But when I go to enter my user name and password and press "OK" at the bottom it brings up an error: "Live World of Warcraft path is invalid". Now back at the main screen, if I select upload it will fail with a bad username and password. I checked the log file and it is using the right username but obviously the password is hidden.
Oddly, the client installed the wow addon, and it seems to be collecting data because when I exit the game it shows up in that window. I just can't upload it because the username/password screen happens to be the same screen one with the option to choose a directory, since the directory error appears. I'm certain the password is correct. I pasted it directly and even tested the user name / pass combo (non-email) on the website to verify.
Here's and image link for the whole mess:
http://imgur.com/8nm3W4TI've tried moving WoW around to different directories and Ironically the client finds it, but it I hit OK on that page, I get the invalid error message. Not sure what to do. I tried deleting the data from programData, the addon, and it finds the directory again and installs addon, but still the dir error, and bad user/name password upload issue. : (
