Macro to Target if Enemy, or Target Target if Friendly?
Return to board index
So I have a macro setup for my Charge ability so I can mouse over the enemy or select a player unit frame and it will charge to their target. But I have the issue that although I charge to the enemy it doesn't make me target them.
So I did the simple /target which works fine when im doing it directly to the enemy, but if I am hovering over a friendly unit frame it will select them and not the enemy.
Is it possible to set a rule where IF im hovering over a friendly, target their target and if it's an enemy target directly, if that makes sense?
EDIT: sorry turns out I'm not very smart, but got it figured out in the end, if anyone is interested however, this is my macro for Charge:
You could short it down by quite a lot, since you're using the same ability all the way through.
This will prioritize any harmful mouseover target. If that doesnt exist, it will prioritize the target your mouse is over, if it's unfriendly. Else, it will charge your target.
Yours will undoubtfully work the same way, but if you're a neet freak like so many of us others, you might want a cleaner macro, that also saves you some macro space to work more abilities into it.
That's interesting, I am certainly someone who enjoys having tidy setups. Though my only issue with this is that it doesn't select the mob I charge towards as my target or when I hover over a friendly player to select the unit they are targeting which is why they two /target lines exsist
The two /target lines do exactly the same as the single line macro I have though.
It will prioritize an unfriendly mouseover, and then your friendly target's target
Harmful mouseover > Friendly mouseover's target > Target
But I'm a neat freak, so I hate several lines that can be shortened down ^^
hmm maybe this?
