Starsurge Question

If the instacast Starsurge procs in midcast of something else, is it optimal to interrupt a recent starfire cast to get the starsurge proc on the way? I ask because looking at my combat text, I have seen Starsurge proc twice during one cast of Starfire. Usually happens on Shamans as I keep them both dotted up as much as possible.
And the next question, if it is optimal to do so, how does a macro noob make that happen? ;-)
Thanks for your help!

I don't know if it is optimum as i don't play balance; but
this should work.
Use the "?" Icon
#showtooltip Starsurge
/stopcasting
/cast Starsurge
*EDIT*
according to
Icyveins
Thanks to Shooting Stars Icon Shooting Stars, the cooldown of Starsurge is sometimes reset, and the spell becomes instant cast. These instant cast Starsurges are your top priority.

Never ever interrupt a cast for a proc. It's always a DPS loss to do so. If you overwrite Starsurge procs, well, that sucks, but that's how it is.
