Seriously, someone explain it to me because I don't get it. They're in like every deck (except mine because I don't have any), yet they give me zero trouble when I face them. I don't see what is so special about this card.
Two minions for 3 mana.
2 minions for 3 mana, 4:4 combined but even better because you have to kill 1st to get to the other, so yeah, it's annoying
It helps with board control, can sacrifice it in trades early game vs rush decks
cant really be traded 1 for 1 without using a good control card, it takes either 2 minions to get it out or 1 minion 1 spell or 1 spell 1 hero power ect, it can be countered with a single card, but who wants to use polymorph ect on such a low level minion and chances of actualy having a
on the board is pretty slim, so is a very affective card early game.
Yes, you almost always get 2:1 with Harvest Golem. Also, there might be other benefits in having two minions for the price of one, such as
, to name only a few.
i agree with Tessuli. It's pretty strong for early in the game, especially if you can coin it out. I almost always have two in my control decks. A common play for me, if I go second, is:
Turn 1: Mana Worm
Turn 2: Coin, Harvest Golem
Now you have two 2/3s on the board, one of which turns into a 2/1 upon death. Good stuff against a warlock that passes and then life taps, or a pally who passes and then hero powers a 1/1. :)
