What if Rift and WoW had a baby?

Okay, I'll admit upfront I've never played a lot of MMO's and in fact my gaming history is kinda sad. I pretty much went from Leisure Suit Larry to WoW and I thought, WoW!
The graphics are amazing, the work done by the art team, the terrain detail, plants blah blah blah, the work of the music and fx teams defies decription. The dripping water sounds when you enter a cave makes it so real I feel like the temperature in the room actually drops. So, after 5 years of just playing WoW, I thought I'd have a look around and see what else is out there and to be honest, I can't find anything that comes close the finished WoW product, the quality of which can only be rated as "Super Schmick!"
None of the other games I've seen come even close in terms of design and essentially the finish that WoW has BUT, I've found myself quite smitten with the game play in Rift. Something about how everyone appears out of nowhere and bands together to fight the rift creatures . Yet the graphics are really really really sad compared to what Blizzard has achieved so the other night as I was falling asleep I started thinking, what if Rift and WoW had a baby?
Rift with a WoW style of design and finish or maybe a WoW with Rift style unexpected outdoor events? (as opposed to our current indoor style dungeons and raids).
lol - forgive my rambling but, what do you think would make for interesting MMO babies if they were allowed? I'd still like to see Leisure Suit Larry in Stormwind cause the guy is such a
player!

WoW's art style has decades of refinement put into it and Blizzard has a whole bunch of very talented artists to realise it. The polish comes naturally from WoW having been out for far longer than it took for some of it's would-be successors to close down. I played Rift for a while and found the visuals decent, but Rift uses a "fantasy realistic" art style that you can't take too far in an MMORPG due to hardware restrictions, or at least you couldn't when Rift was released.
