Makorr: Contingency

Perhaps it is only natural the past repeats itself. Not just in out own history, but in all histories, no matter how much we wish it wouldn't.
Green bottles, the children, the world they are brought to, and the challenges they all face. Is there a meaning? A reason for it all? A method to the madness?
Perhaps, for the answer, we need to look at it from a different prespective. Another world, much the same as the one our recurring cast knows, but with just a couple key differences.
And what of Azeroth? One world saves, another destroyed, and a third one left mostly unchanged? Will it, perhaps, be different this time? The cast may or may not be larger, and they may or may not be different. Only time will tell, it seems.
For now, the story begins.
Yes, yes. It's another Makorr. We went a while without one, and this idea has been nagging me since Intersection.
Basically, the twist in this makorr; Gender Flips.
"Wait, what?"
Yeah, basically, when dropping yourself in, you have two potential character; the normal you, and an opposite-gender version of yourself. Fel, feel free to drop them both in if you want to.
For our total newbies who are probably painfully confused. Makorr (We have no idea what it means, stop asking) is an RP series involving ourselves, as RPers, suddenly being dropped into Azeroth by strange green bottles. (Opening or breaking them results in the perpitrator being eaten by a thick green mist and deposited into Azeroth.)
Furthermore, this RP is probably "Temporaly Ambiguous", anything post-Cata is pretty fair game, so have fun with that. :P
Now then, let's get this show on the road!
"Inkalchemist: It's where RPer's throw themselves into the warcraft universe in order to create tremendous amounts of drama everyone feels ashamed of later."

Logan, Lacey
Makorr
Lacey cough. What the heck kind of bottle was that? She stepped back, her boots clicking against the sidewalk as the smoke gave her a splitting headache. There was more coughing, but it wasn't her.
Looking up, she blinked, the man glancing up at her as well. The two stared at each other a moment before the entire world seemed to explode within their senses.
Logan
-
Wind whipped at Logan's hair, and he felt weightless. Opening his eyes, he watched the quickly approaching canopy; water glistening with what little sunlight broke through the leaves and reached far below them.
Oh @#$%...
Raising up his arms, he broke the leaves, slowing his fall just enough for the several meter drop downwards; splashing into the pool below with a shout.

Sonja Anders

There was a green mist. This in and of itself was unexpected. Following this was a rush of air, as wind throwing itself in the face. Following this as was standard behaviour one expected to find themselves exactly where they had began, but this was not what happened. What one instead found was that they were on a beach, surrounded by broken spars and such. Sonja pushed the sand out of her bowl cut white hair as she slowly stood.
Looking about found high sandy cliffs and the open sea. The sea air was bracing, but confusing all the same, and she quickly shook her plain white and grey highlighted shirt and pants free of the clinging grit.
"...thIS IS Not an ExpeCTEd reSULt."

Jonas jumped up with a start. "Hang on! Wha-at is going on here?" Looking up and down the sandy beach, he scratched his head, freeing some golden grains of sand which had blended in perfectly with the plain blonde hair they had inhabited. "Um...Okay, okay. A bit...a bit unusual, must say. Yes, but ah...Hm. Okay, this can be...fixed. Mustn't panic. That is the important...bit. Hm. Yes, not panicking. That is a..that is a good plan. I must have...Best think now. Um..."
Jonas stood still in silent contemplation. Once the moment passed he fell to his knees, grabbed his hair, and screamed, "Oh God I'm doomed! I'm lost! I'm lost, I'm doomed and I'm panicking! I'm lost, doomed, panicking and there's a crab down my trousers! Ahhhhhhhhhh!"

Andrew sighed, walking back towards his home in the pouring rain. "Ack!" he exclaimed as he tripped on the wet pavement, falling flat onto his face and onto a green bottle, which shattered on impact. Oh, could this day get any worse? He stood, checking to see if any shards of glass had pierced him. None did, thankfully. And then the green mist engulfed him. "Augh!" he roared as he was sucked into oblivion.

Sonja Anders
Location:
Westfall
Wandering about the immediate confines of the beach, Sonja was intrigued to find no evidence of how she precisely came to be there. No tracks leading to her position, evidence she had been bound, coerced, or otherwise. In other words, how she came to be on a beach in the middle of nowhere was a mystery.
Pondering this, she had taken to squatting by the shoreline and prodding an irritable crab with a stick, considering possible means she now found herself with. At length, she abandoned the crab who scuttled off into the water. Dropping the stick, Sonja rose to her full height and peered about.
"...That wAY, thEN." Without another word, she began picking her way across the beach.

Jonas had stopped speaking but not holding his head in his hands. However, he had now fallen onto his side in the sand, and by means of frantically moving his legs was spinning in circles while repeating "Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."
He took a deep breath.
"...ghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

Logan
Swamp of Sorrows
Gasping for air, Logan's head escaped the confines of the water. Looking around, he quickly swam for the shore, pulling himself upwards. His trenchcoat was soaked, and he had no idea where he was.
Looking around, he felt at the sponge-like ground, coughing up the rest of the swamp water as he realized what it was.

Alexander slammed into the hard packed earth with a rather lame
thud
.
"Ow."
He got to his feet, rubbing the back of his head and wincing. Something flashed through his brain: green gas, a bottle, various nasty demons and overpowered characters, but they were gone as fast as they came.
"Well, crap," he muttered. "This... doesn't look familiar." He pulled out his cellphone and checked the time: ?:? (no connection). "Double crap," he grumbled, seeing that he didn't have any bars. He put the phone away and began paying attention to his surroundings. Hot.
Dry.
Windy.
The usual.
However, there was a barn in the distance.
Odd. He didn't remember any barns nearby.
And the ground seemed to be fields, not sand.
Double odd.

Sonja at long last managed to find a break amongst the cliffs. The sandy hill led straight up, almost vertical, but anything being considered better than the endless expanses of sand and depression, Sonja decided to chance it. Clawing her way up the path, she finally found purchase for her shoes amongst the ragged tufts of grass, and soon after breached the shoreline.
She paused upon the top of the hill. What appeared to be depression era farmland stretched in nearly every direction. Dust, brown, and skeletal trees with a few barns and houses settling in amongst the hills, the very picture of the setting for the Grapes of Wrath.
Then she turned her eyes and saw the tornado spinning in a breach of the earth some distance away.
Sonja stared.
Then consciously refused to say she was no longer in Kansas anymore.

Lacey
Duskwood
"Well, we're not in Kansas anymore..." Lacey muttered, glancing skywards at the oppressive canopy, shrouding her in darkness. She didn't exactly mind, if it wasn't evident to anyone who saw her.
Tall high-heeled boots went almost up to her knees, leading into lace leggings which eventually vanished beneath a frilly skirt; held open by wires hidden in the fabrics. A back and purple Corset covered her stomach and breasts, with a 'jacket' in name only going over her shoulders and arms; covering the very top of her back and remaining open in the front.
Her hair was long, brown with black and purple streaks. And her dark green eyes examined her surroundings curiously.

When an aspiring band announces its first three songs as 'Solitude', 'Desolation' and 'Destroyer', that right there pretty much tells you all that you need to know about it. However, Alistair found himself nodding along and smiling wryly when he made out one word in five over the roaring guitar riffs. It had been a long day, and it did not take much before the beer started to take its toll on his system.
Of course, he would not even be here had his perhaps oldest friend, the daughter of his parents' college friends, and now a vocalist in one of the groups, not invited him on her debut concert. Her group had been the first to sing this evening, and perhaps it was bias talking, but Alistair had genuinely enjoyed listening to her voice.
Still, the beer was coming to its end; Alistair turned to the father of the girl, seeing as the other was holding an empty glass as well.
"Light or dark?"
"Light," the older man snorted with a small smile and an appreciative nod. Alistair hurried upstairs, to the bar.
"I'm sorry, mate, we're all out of Tagan tap. Can I interest you in Tuborg Green?" the bartender asked once the young man had made his way to the counter.
"Sure, I guess," Alistair shrugged, grabbing the two bottles. He immediately opened one of them...
'
Oh dearie me,
' was the second-to-last coherent thought he had before the darkness took him. The last, for some reason, '
Here we go again. Again.

Jonas Sander
Location:
Westfall
Jonas had finally stopped screaming. This was more to do with the fact that he could no longer manage the action due to an amount of sand swallowed than any desire to cease. As such, he sat cross legged and armed on the sand, spitting out bits of grit, and tried to assess his situation in a mature and orderly fashion.
Fate was not kind to such attempts. A splash awakened Jonas from his introspection, and he watched in mounting horror as what appeared to be a bipedal piranha carrying a trident, jigged out of the surf and onto the beach like some horrifying mutant bather. Slimy scales and pale, luminous eyes blinked owlishly with a wet, flapping sound as the creature hopped and stomped onto the beach, half trilling half croaking a sound resembling "
Mrrrgrl
" as it did so.
It suddenly paused on noticing the young man. Jonas stared, riveted in horror and wonder at the fish creature, while it did likewise. Neither seemed certain of the propriety of who should speak first in such an occasion. Jonas blinked. The fish person blinked, eyelids sliding over the pale fishy orb. They resumed staring.
Jonas thereafter refused to write in his memoirs that what caused his subsequent flight and end of stalemate had been the murloc scratching itself.

"This... does not seem right," he muttered with a frown, and began walking towards the nearby farmhouse, situated next to the barn, where an older fellow stood, gazing at his fields and sighing. Alex followed his gaze and saw several scarecrows.
Moving scarecrows.
Moving, electrified scarecrows.
"Well." He approached the man. "Um, sir, could you tell me where I am?"
The man glanced over, then did a double take. "Son, did you get separated from your caravan or something?" he asked gruffly.
"Wait, wha-?" Alex began to say, but was interrupted.
"It's lucky you came to the Saldean's, too," he continued. "You'd probably have been robbed had you gone to one of the other farms looking like that."
Confused, Alex glanced down. Grey shoes, brown, slim jeans and a light blue v-neck. Not exactly odd, or "rich" for that matter. "Um... So I'm at the Saldean's, then?" he asked after a moment.
"Aye," the man nodded. "I'm Farmer Saldean. This is my farm."
"Saldean..." Alex muttered. "Thanks," he said, stepping back and leaning against the wall. His brow creased with thought.
That's impossible.

Logan
Swamp of Sorrows
After nearly making himself vomit, Logan was up. Up and hoping to see something to guide him.
Unfortunately, there was nothing but swamp in all directions. At first, anyway. Straining to see, and sow something moving in the distance. Two legs, two arms; it was a person!
"Hey!" He flailed, trying to get their attention. "Hey, over-" He paused as they clearly noticed him, their motions most certainly
not
human.
"The hell is that?" He wondered as it began to approach from the distance. "I-I though bigfoot lived in the woods!"
Regardless, he certainly had a direction to move in: away from that thing.
And quickly.
In a puff of green gross swamp-smoke, Logan was quickly rushing along the squishy ground, through the trees and around or over bogs.
