Help My DPS is low!
Return to board index
I was wondering if you could look me up, I'm on Cenarius Alliance, Char: Virile.
I am a Ret Paladin, I thought I had average - okay gear but I feel as if I should be doing more than 50-70k inconsisten DPS. Any suggestions criticism would be appreciated, thank you!
By the way, I have the Hit Chance capped and Expertise capped at 7.5% (little over).
Replace your trinkets asap. Trinkets are among the most important slots, don't use them to boost your ilvl if your seriously concerned about your DPS. Especially
Bitterest Balebrew Charm
does pretty much nothing for your DPS, you would be served better using a questing green.
Also don't pick items with dodge or parry (make sure you are in Retribution loot specialization when converting Timeless Isle tokens, unless they have crit on them they are better for tanking and DPSing anyway)
You should try to fully enchant your gear, this is only a small contribution but everything counts. If you completely fail to do DPS comparable to others at a similar ilvl go and check if you are using the correct
and of course practice to use every GCD and that movement doesn't interfere with your attacking.
Guys can you help me with a problem i trying to think when i created my Dranei Pally im thinking when i turn 50 change my spec or keep it the same
If you're trying to inflate ilvl to get to the LFR, you dont need to actually equip the items, just having them with you is enough.
Also, CLCRet is a handy addon that can help improve DPS, it'll show which attack you should be using next, based on the availability and the priority order you set for it.
@Zoneflipper, you don't have to change specs at all at 50 if you don't want to, after L30 you can buy the option to have 2 specs for a few gold at a Class Trainer, so you can switch between the two. Other than that, it's still just a game, go with what's most fun for you
