I dislike the whole pvp thing on pve realms also. I want to pvp when I want to pvp... which is why I picked a pve realm. There are just too many exploits and bugs that get you flagged.
As far as flex modes... NO WAY.. they are not easy and would be a wipe-fest with a random LFR type group... heck LFR is not that easy right now... and Flex is a huge step up as far as the demands placed on the average dps. That said. Openraid.us is a website that lets you easily join with others. and oQueue is an addon that does the same thing. I have had great success using those two things to find groups for flex... but you generally have some peer accountability there and the dps are above average players... also, they mostly require vent which makes a huge difference in coordination.
Raidfinder ilvl is about right..they could have gone to 530.. but that just pushes everything else up. The thing is , I really think the devs hope that in a month or two, you (assuming you only do lfr now) will beging trying to get into groups to do Flex. Flex is not easy, at this moment´ with a bunch of random strangers in 500 gear.. but when everyone is up to 530-535 ilvl.. they will be fairly easy to pug. Coordinated groups on vent can do it at 500, random pugs can do it at 530.
As far as weapons.. Buy mogu runes and run all 4 parts of ToT and use a stone on every boss that has a weapon. They are definitely the hardest spots to fill, but there should be at least some effort at running old content ( 1 raid) on a fresh 90 before they can get into SoO.

I like the whole concept of timeless island and think it is great fun.
But to nitpik about little things.
1. rare spawns should start with more health.. not necessarily do more damage though. Right now, most of them die in about 15 seconds. If I had designed them, I would have made them more like the ship or at least the ale event. The larva one in particular can be solo´d so quickly that it spawns and is dead before you know it.
2. The sprite event needs some explaination. I have never seen anyone actually do it right. most people click on the crystal, then run away from the sprites and the event is over for your server for an hour.
3. Shoa-hoa rep - a few more dailies please. Not like golden lotus.. but at least 1 or 2 more. When I look at 21k rep needed, then I look at each klll giving 19 rep.... makes me want to cry. (or at least wait til next expac til I can wipe them fast).

1. rare spawns should start with more health
They increase in health when another player attacks it. The usual rare would be ~5mill hp with one person, then go to 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 etc with each person that tries to kill it.
On topic, my likes and dislikes...
I like everything. except one.
The achievement
Going To Need A Bigger Bag
- Most of the items have a low drop rate.... very low... Not to mention I spent over 6 hours trying to get the Monstrous Spineclaw rare to spawn, which in itself has a low drop rate of a pet.....

it would be easier to list what I dislike, because this patch has a ton of stuff that I love.
I dislike that the shaohao rep doesn't have any quests associated with them save for ONE daily. This is Timbermaw rep grind all over again, except worse, because at least the timbermaw were ridiculously easy to mow down, whereas taking down a single yaungol elite is an excercise in frustration, specially for melee. Even one tiny mistake and BOOM, ONE-SHOT.
Also while I like the concept of the timeless isle, it would work a lot better if the mobs were NOT taggable. The island is too small, there's too many people trying to kill stuff. I get that they drew inspiration from GW2 to make this island, but unlike wow, in GW2 there is no mob tagging, thus you're actually HAPPY to see other players, not cursing under your breath.
In wow, getting anything to kill is a pain in his island, due to the relatively low amount of mobs compared to the number of players, so every kill feels like a struggle and its very frustrating when you see a mob spawn, try to kill it ,only to see two dozen people hit it before you can.
I feel that this island would had been a smashing success if only the mobs had no tags.
Third and final thing I dislike, is the whole forced pvp thingie. I rolled in a PVE server for a reason, and while I applaud that they introduced some measures to prevent exploits, people are anything if not creative, from rogues that use the glyph of disguise to take on the aspect of yaungol elites, to people standing on freshly killed mobs to get you to hit them, there's a lot of ways to abuse this and force people who just want to PVE, into PVP.
I rolled into a PVE server precisely so I can choose when and where do I want to pvp. I don't like it when that choice is taken away from me, as it nullifies the whole point of rolling in a PVE server in the first place.

My favorite thing, logging in and getting the
Crazy for Cats
and then changing the tittle on my toons to "
<Name> the Crazy Cat Lady
".
For me, it's the little things in game that make me smile :)

well obviously, but you missed my point. If someone with ilvl 530 or above comes across a rare spawn with 5mil hps.. it is dead before anyone not on the screen can tag it.

Why becuase need to be intentionally frustrated?

The location of the new raid entrance to the primary city "hubs" of the game.
How the world bosses work.
The way all the epic cloak drops happen in SoO.
Dislikes:
No mailbox on the Timeless isle.
Traveling to the timeless isle.
The island is too small. The devs need to remove the tagging of mobs or they need to instance the isle. My server is high population and it is just madness.

Umm there is a mailbox on the isle.
It's actually an NPC who you need to talk to then choose the chat dialogue to send mail.
The mail icon appears on your mini.map if you set it to show mailboxes. Unsurprisingly he's stood next to the innkeeper.

I have yet to find anything really that I do not like about 5.4. I see people on my server crying about the rep grind, but that is the 'Vanilla WoW" experience everyone cries about. Spending many hours farming mobs to get exalted.
Suck it up buttercups! You want vanilla back, well you got a taste of it right there.

This is a double edged sword for me.
Like:-
I like being able to gear up my many alts easily, but really the gated rep and ludicrous grind is all that stopped that before, so if anything TI is a band-aid covering an earlier mistake.
Dislike:-
How the Timeless Isle pisses over all previous content.
With luck and obviously time, you can fully gear a toon to the extent it negates any need to do anything but a couple of LFR to obtain gear.
LFR tells a story, and thanks to TI all but the ToT can now be skipped due to the gear simply not being required.
Blizzard talk about wanting people to see content, and now take out a massive chunk of it.
Overall we all know it's filler content, allowing people who have alts, or people who didn't quite have the gear to hurriedly get ready for the last raid.
Blizzard once again panders to the lowest common denominator.
There is nothing wrong with releasing a raid that people are not ready for, it gives us the kick in the pants to get in there and see new content, rather than give everyone free loot and say "have at it lads"

This has been done before: BC had Magister's Terrace to get you up and into the content at the end of the expac. Wrath did it twice, with the Tourney and then the ICC -mans. Cata did with the remade ZA/ZG and then the HoT's.
It's not a new thing, to have a way to skip the previous content.

I just finished grinding out Alani's mount, so Timeless Isle is much less grindy than the previous couple of weeks have been for me.
I find the sense of discovery on Timeless Isle to be a lot of fun. I like that not every rare is just sitting there, and you have to kite mobs to a spot, investigate objects, etc. to spawn them. I thought chasing that whale shark thing around the island for 10 minutes was really funny. I think the Albatross mechanic was entertaining. Overall, that Island is 10/10 for me. For the raid, I'd prefer if our healer could stay connected so we could clear more than one boss a night, but the mechanics seem to be well-balanced.

On a more positive note.
I like that professions no longer need silly mats to craft end game items and for the most part they are largely self sufficient.
Blacksmithing actually feels useful to me now, the daily CD seems worthwhile for the eventual outcome.
(Profession changes in MoP overall a big thumbs up)

-Gear. I was slowly working a few alts through LFRs and getting them gear, but I had given up on a few also and basically abandoned them till next expansion. Then with two days of exploring (not even farming) all my 90s were near 500 ilevel with geared off-specs. The only rare items were the rings and trinkets. Their weapons are god-awful, but what'ch gonna do?
Dislikes:
-"Rare" spawns. Most aren't rare, and all of them have too little health. The damage should stay the same so they can be soloed/etc, but their health needs to go way way up. Like I'm talking 10 or 20 times what it is now. At least for the first month. During normal play times, all the little rares die within 10 seconds of being announced, and even the bigger rares are usually dead within 30 seconds. The Barrens Commanders worked well, they were alive long enough that you had a reasonable chance to reach them, but the only way to tag the TI rares is by luck or camping.
-Rep grind. I don't mind having to grind mobs for rep, I would have like at least one more daily quest, but I don't mind how it is. But I would have liked it if there were more Normal mobs. Say both the lower and upper plateau would all be Normals, then the camp on the upper plateau and from the first bridge up would be the small elites, then Ordos' castle would be the big elites. Plus I'd like to see more of them, or their spawn timers based on the amount of people in the area.
-Tapping. Removing tapping is long overdue in WoW in general I think, but it is especially noticeable on the the Isle. As someone above said, you should be saying "yay" when you see another person, not cursing under your breath because it means more compitition for spawns. I spend at least 85% of my time on the Isle looking or waiting for things to kill, and that's too much.
-All the above can be solved by phasing/layering/whatever term you wish to use the Isle. So every time there are 200 people on the Isle half are split off and put on a new layer, then one of those layers hits 200, a new layer is formed, etc. I get that Blizzard's "thing" with MoP was "we're an MMO and you should see other people playing" with the CRZ and the virtual realm and whatnot. But seeing people around you is one thing, camping a rare with 150 other people or competing over a few spawn points with 30 other people is quite another - and to those who will say "join together and form a group or raid with those 30 other people", coins don't drop in raid, and you're still competing with 25 other people, not a whole lot of difference when there are limited spawns.
TL;DR
The island is too crowded, I like everything else :p
