Mists Of Pandaria - Elemental Shaman Build
Return to board index
If you're looking to making a Elemental Shaman, this build would be well suited for you... it offers a reasonable DPS boost and can be used in PVP situations also. Not saying it is the best but i think it's rather good in my opinion.
- Astral Shift.
- Windwalk Totem.
- Call Of The Elements.
- Echo Of The Elements.
- Ancestral Guidance.
- Elemental Blast.
These are optional as this is the only glyph build i know and use.
- Glyph Of Chain Lightning.
- Glyph Of Fire Elemental Totem.
- Glyph Of Flame Shock.
- Glyph Of Spiritwalker's Grace.
- Glyph of Thunderstorm
- Glyph Of The Lakestrider
- Glyph Of The Spectral Wolf
I like the general setup, but I would suggest the following adjustments:
(Note: does not include the 5.4 glyphs yet)
- Earthgrab Totem
This one is situational, but I find it a useful more of the time than Windwalk Totem. I do switch to Windwalk for most raid bosses though.
- Glyph of Flame Shock
Only required one, imo.
- Glyph of Chain Lightning
When there is AoE, i.e. bosses with adds, or trash pulls.
- Glyph of Lightning Shield
Damage reduction is nice when questing, in PvP or for raid-wide damage.
- Glyph of Thunder (instead of Chain Lightning)
I like this in PvP, or on fights where I need to off-heal, for the mana regen.
Minor Glyphs are more or less cosmetic, just that I personally dislike using
Glyph of Thunderstorm
, since if you get used to using TS, the knockback can be really useful. (e.g. you pull aggro, you can TS mobs back towards tank for easier pickups)
