NPCScan not auto detect
Return to board index
My NPC scan used to auto detect every mob in pandaria, (i've cleared cache both NPC and creatures). but now i need to target the mob or mouseover the mob before the alarm goes off(detect). any idea why? and also, the path of NPC in map/minimap isnt showing, unless i check (always show path) in option. please help
1) Make sure your addon is up-to-date (I think they recently updated this addon)
2) I have always used 'always show path' so I am not sure if there is an issue there, but if it works while it's on, just leave it on :P
3) There is also a tiny button on the top-left of your world map that says "NPCs" that you can use to toggle the NPCScan overlay on your map (i.e., if you are having a hard time seeing something on the map because it's covered up by a rare path)
Hope this helps!
hmm, yeah ill try to use that always show path, but the main problem is, when im alt tabbing, NPCscan cant detect the mobs becoz it need mouseover to detect it. can someone help?
Are the NPC IDs for the mobs you are searching for loaded into the addon? Type /npcscan and look at the list...are the mobs you are looking for listed? If so, are they colored red? If they are red, then you need to delete your cache folder again. If they are not listed, you will need to manually enter the NPC ID, which can be found here on WoWHead.
