Hey, im all new here.
Im just wondering what talents you guys think i should use on a gobin DK that i use as both tank and DPS?
And if you want to add it, i would appreciate it if someone took the time to write in what order you do your spells, and what order you have them on your action bars.
Im all new with DK so i dont have any idea on how to use it the best!

will teach you everything you need to know about how to play your class. Basically from 55-80ish spec blood and smash your face against the keyboard. It's that easy! You will see what spells do what but your main thing is spam Death Strike when it's up, other than that...smash your face on the keyboard and enjoy being amazing!

Actually, for leveling I've found that icy-veins doesn't do much at all. They'll advise you to go Frost or Unholy "because it's more efficient (faster?)" and that is about it.
Personally, I've only gotten my DK to 68 so far, but Frost has seemed to be more of a waiting game. Blood seems to be the more active spec, which suits my playstyle better.
I dont mind tanking dungeons at all, I've got the spec and gear for it, but I wonder how Blood (in Frost Presence and obviously Vengeance) is compared to Frost as a DPS spec, in case I get selected as a DPS in a LFD.
Can you get away with Blood in Frost Presence? Or is it really much better to just go Frost for that dungeon?

Why oh why would you want to go blood in frost presence? It does nothing for you.
NOTE: It no longer adds 20% flat damage modifier.
Your
provides same amount of rune regen plus all the goodie goodness of blood presence (pve crit immunity, 25% stam, 10% damage reduction and 55% armor increase).
Blood is nicer for early levels because it gets its full end game "rotation" right off the bat. All the abilities beside Outbreak are available.
Unholy doesnt get Festering strike till 62 (which makes the "rotation" kinda wierd), Sudden doom till 64,
till 68, Dark transformation till 70 and Improved presence till 75. which makes it the game of constant applying diseases and waiting.
Frost doesnt get IMproved Frost presence till 65 and Killing Machine till 63, not to mention the weapon defining passives till 74.
As Blood its only necesary to spec Rolling Blood, apply disaease, spam blood boil and you are good to go.

Well, since Blood does have a near complete rotation, it's currently a much more enjoyable spec. However, I won't be the tank in every dungeon I queue for, so I'm curious if I should switch specs for that dungeon or if simply switching presence to Frost will still allow me to do a decent amount of DPS.
Sure, it's still only leveling, and it's all faceroll content, but this is my first serious attempt to raise a DK, so I'm not about to just **** around until I hit 90 and only start to learn my class then.

Why not? If you que as tank/dps there is 99.5% chances you get a tank role. Only 0.5% chance is when some tank joined with a healer.

You should switch specs. Blood doesnt do any damage* without Vengeance (and you wont get any without pulling aggro, and you wont pull aggro without blood presence). You could go for two tanks but make sure its ok with both tank and healer.

Very good idea.
From my perspective 80+ its much better to quest with a dps spec and use your tank spec for dungeons.
* - its damage is similar to priest smite spam or holy paladin denounce spam. We somewhat discussed to issue here:

well, actually, I've noticed so far it was more lik 30-40% of the time I got queued as DPS, but it's still early Wrath content and even Mages are almost viable tanks as long as the DPS wear heirlooms and the healer isn't asleep.
I tried "Blood DPS" for a bit and it does hit like a wet noodle compared to proper Blood, so changing back to Frost is gonna be the way to go indeed. I think you don't even get Vengeance at all if you're in Frost Presence (I ended up tanking the first double pull in UK when the tank LoSed the healer and bit the dust...Blood Boil ftw!)

Yes even if you pull aggro in non-blood presence you get no vengeance regardless of spec.
