Here is the message
Account Name: WOW1
Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.
Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.
We've found the above behaviour is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. I got a suspension for the exact same reason once. I called Customer Service and they said that something I was doing flagged the server that I was cheating in some way. The rep told me that the cheating detection automatically suspends the account once it detects suspicious activity. I asked for details because I wouldn't even know how to cheat at WoW, and certainly never did anything intentionally to violate the ToS.
The previous day my wife was helping one of my lowbie alts with runs through Strat while she hunted for the Baron mount, we must have gone through it 20-25 times (since each run was taking ~12 minutes, we never hit the instance limit and just did it over and over for hours). This convinced the server I was using some sort of automation software (I guess it assumed that a human wouldn't be willing to run Strat for 5 hours straight). Interestingly, my wife's account was not flagged.
I explained that I was actually sitting at the Keyboard during that time, and actually playing my character (insofar as looting kills is playing). This was sufficient for the Customer Service rep to unlock my account. I may have forgotten some details, this was a few years ago.
My advice would be to call Cust. Service (works much better than email) and ask. Explain that you didn't cheat or violate any rules, and ask for details on what they think you did -- maybe you'll be able to offer an explanation and get it unlocked. It's also possible that your account was hacked, and the hacker violated the TOS -- but even in this case, calling would be a good option. Found some phone numbers in a different thread:

the truth is i farming like hell in one place for 5 6 days 6 7 hours per day... and i make like 9k gold i hope this is not the reason.
anyway ty for your post
yes more than likely it is the reason - the server would of detected that you were in the same location just farming - this would of flagged you as a bot ( mechanised play )
To avoid this in future just do a random dungeon every hour or so to break up what you are doing .

Hi Delu, to add to the thead here, I would also recommend making sure that you have one of the free mobile authenticators
on the account which helps us to see that the account has remain secured. I'll keep my eyes on the thread in case you respond.
