Undead of any race?
Return to board index
Hello fellow WoW players! So today i was playing my undead. Then i thought 'i wish i could be an orc undead' then i thought... '!@#$ that i wish i could be undead of any race i want' i mean, if you think about it, Sylvanas just wants undead, she doesnt care if they are not only human undeads. i mean worgen undead would look sick, and orc and belf too. I mean it would still be a horde race but you could be like a worgen that is deprived and has bones showing it would be awesome! And think about being a gnome undead, that would hilarious. Please consider it blizz! Also give us undeads to have armor that isnt always ripped. Its not like us undead ask the person that made the armor to keep holes for my bones to show.
I believe there is some lore reason that the Worgen cannot be made into undead, which is explained either when you deal witht he Worgen as undead, or deal with the undead when you deal with the worgen (I forget which). I think also that the Forsaken would quickly lose their spot in the Horde if the other races started to see their fallen compatriots raised as undead to fill in Sylvanas's army, and she probably knows that too. At best, I could see the other alliance races as being possible targets, but I think that's a lot of variation in a single race.
Closest you'll get is the Death Knights. And gnome dk's are, indeed, hilarious.
The overwhelming majority of Forsaken are human because they were former Lordaeron citizens, and that's where the Forsaken "began" as a race/culture/civilization/whatever-you-call-it. As a PC, you are one of these humans. I mean, you're even raised from a cemetery in Lordaeron when you start out as a Forsaken.
Undead worgen are impossible (save for death knights) because there is something about the curse that prevents them from being raised.
Val'kyr's under Sylvanas can only raise up Humans as new Undead as well. Their power doesn't work on the rest of the races.
The majority of undead are either A: death knights or B: Deformed piles of sausage-meat where we can't figure out what came from where.
I'll beat you ten bucks plenty of abomination parts came from orcs gnomes and whatnot.
Undead belves would be very cool; however, the Scourge never really got far into Orc/Nelf/Troll/Gnome/Dwarf/Cow/Goat/whatever territory.
How about a compromise: when Blizzard gives us updated character models, the Forsaken can have ear-customization and slouch-customization options so you can make them look like Belves :)
