Visibility Macro help for Button Forge
Return to board index
Is there a way to only have an action bar visible while shift is held?
I want to make a mounts/proffesions bar and make it only visible when i hold a specific key doesn't have to be shift Any key really. any help would be appreciated. even to the point of letting me know it can't be done
There is a solution, but you would have to macro all of the items on one of your action bars. Basically, you would do this (example of a rogue with leatherworking):
/cast Leatherworking; Backstab
/cast Black War Bear; Evasion
Hope that helps!
Most of the action bar addons (if you're willing to make the jump to one) like Dominos or Bartender allow you to do this.
As far as Button Forge goes (I know this is an old question) input visibility macro show; hide will show a bar on shift=pushed.
To have that shown bar replace another, make the replaced bar(s) visibility macro hide; show , overlap them if you want one to visibly replace the other and you're golden.
edit: buttonforge doesn't like shift as a modifier but ctrl works as expected.

Edit: Made it work by using:
