During the days of low level dungeons, you'll see your run of the mill group that gets you through, but then you'll get the oddjobs like tanks with the wrong specs, people with white gear, people who need everything, etc. and when you point out all of those flaws, people go ahead and think that you're an "elitist @#$%^&bag" and starts to hate you affecting your DPS trying to form a response. And at the end they'll pull up a Recount and when you see that you're on the bottom, it just puts the icing on the cake so you leave. I'm just tired of people that are bad and people hating people like me that think that everyone should have heirlooms or upgraded gear. It's just infuriating. Anyone ever have this moment?

Of course.
However...if that's how they want to play, let them play. At this point, in LFD, it's easier to just get them to talk so you can hit them with report spam so you won't end up in a group with them for the rest of your play time.

I'm not fond of people who are bad if it significantly affects what's going on. In low-level dungeons it hardly even matters, though, so hell, if the healer wants to wear full greys I'm all for it so long as we don't die.
I think that you might be taking a bit too seriously a part of the game that is currently so unbalanced in the players' favor that you don't need gear to further overpower the enemies in there. And if you're being so intense about the part of a game that's so trivial- and particularly your own DPS (and having low DPS because you're trying to think of a retort to something) in these trivial ventures- then yeah, I would side with the baddies who dislike you for your behavior and attitude.

It is one thing to play around with content that got way easier than how you first experienced it, but it is another if you're just stealing someone else's time by fooling around.
Sometimes, the best way is to just ask "hey, mind if I tank this in Ret?" or something like that, instead of just assuming everyone agrees, or even realizes what you are doing.

I recently mailed my heirlooms to my priest, and healed a dungeon without them on.
I had no trinkets, no head, no cloak, no legs, no shoulders, no chest, and no weapons.
Still never went below 75% mana. Don't worry about other people's gear at low levels.
(This was at 64 I think, doing Underbog or something like that.)

If there is someone i group with and i really do not wanna do a lfd once again with that person i do this if he does not talk.
Whisper said player with hi.Shift click the name while having chat open so name appear in chat with server. Type /ignore with space before said name. Person are now ignored and I do not see him anymore.
Works like a charm for me. Too be honest I rarely does this due almost all lfd for me at least seems like decent blokes.

Just use logic and watch him rage.
Don't view it emotionally, use facts.
And ofcourse in these days, raw dps means nothing, it's all mechanics.

took took 3 years of good luck but i finally got a LFD tank, a druid trying to moonkin tank Siege of niuzao temple immediately mass pulling almost everything at the start around the boss, standing in the the heavy damage wall gushers, charging the boss when the last mob died and pulling the last group of mobs DURING that boss.
We kill everything but he dies at the last moment and he starts digging into the healer, who was already oom before the boss pull due to the multiple wall gushers tank-kin stood in and still somehow managed to still heal us. A miracle worker getting #$%^ from this guy.
then he's all "i dont need this place anyway!" and leaves himself. Thank You.
We rolled our eyes, got a new tank instantly and moved on.
These people are insignificant namely and theres no point blowing blood vessels open in our heads over them.
But if you do see someone get dug in by some moron, when you get rid of the idiot, just throw a few supportive words that persons way. It helps much more.

Oh the joys of being a healer.
If someone tries to screw up the dungeon by being an idiot, I stop healing them. If it's the tank, I make someone else tank, or just heal whoever needs it. Never had any problems like that, and it typically forces the... "annoying element" out of the group pretty fast, once he gets tired of corpse-running.
If you can't handle the hate some people spew, and someone tries being an idiot, just report them. That way, you don't have to listen to their ramblings at all.
Or just focus on your battle log. Never really felt the need to communicate in any dungeon pre-80.

I hate break this to you but, "pointing out people's flaws" in low level dungeons is really lame. You should be given loads of grief for doing that.

The whole spamming Recount after a boss does get annoying.

You know how progressed tanks will have multiple sets of gear for different types of bosses?
Well, I've got an off-set focusing on stam for my Huntard. And an off-tank pet to boot. When n00b tanks rush in and poor healer can't keep up, I have a quick cycle to run through to pull out off-tank, use all its aggro-boosting moves, and hopefully save a wipe. Also useful for if healer pulls aggro. Doesn't always work since I can't switch gear too, but usually it does. I call it my peel-mobs-off-dying-tank move. Probably something more catchy out there but that works for me. Someone's 'bad pet growled' macro whispers in my ear, but I don't mind it much.
If he looks to be doing it again I switch to stam set and tank the rest of the instance.
Meh, just slap on some glyphs. With the right talents and glyphs, your pet heals an average of 44% of its total HP over 10 seconds with mend pet, and 2,2 % every 2 seconds passively with spirit bond. That's 5,5% per second. Have your healer throw a heal or two on it every once in a while, and it should be fine, especially since our pets are incredibly OP against some bosses. Any AoE damage is reduced by 90%, and they are immune to at least some AoE-applied effects it seems.

That relies on people being completely blind and inattentive to work.
Of course, bad players never notice it. I've been accused of "making the tanks job harder" for misdirecting him, and even kicked once. Despite the odd fact that
he never lost aggro even once
. He simply ignored me when I told him I used misdirect on him, and never once had aggro.
Such players deserve a simple /ignore. They can't be reasoned with, so don't bother. Generally, if people either dispute or ignore your advice, you can be 90% certain that they aren't going to listen at all. Save yourself the trouble, it isn't worth it.
