How long are the BG queues (sp?) these days?
Return to board index
I have not played WoW since WotLK and was thinking about coming back. When I played all I wanted to do was BGs and what killed WoW for me was I would que up for a BG and have to wait around 15 minutes or more to join any of them. Plus Blizz dropped the number of BGs I could que for at a time to only 2 I believe.
So before and if I come back I have a few questions:
1. How long (usually) are the ques for each BG? Also how long for random BG (or daily, call to arms, whatever it is called now-a-days)
2. Is there a server or battle group that is quicker than others to join a BG?
3. Does Horde or Alliance usually have smaller que times?
4. How many BGs can you que up for at any given time?
BONUS QUESTION: I absolutely loved AV back in the days. From the research that I have done it seems that it is just simply not the same, for me it sounds much less fun. Can anyone confirm, deny, or comment on this for me please?
Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Random BGs are quick. Very quick. Normally the wait time is less then a minute. As for running particular BG you pick, idk. I don't ever do it.
Normally, when I do Warsong Gulch outside of Call to Arms, the wait time is around 2 minutes. And if you're a Vanilla player, and have fond memories of AV from back then...prepare to have those memories spat upon. Alterac Valley is a mindless zergfest compared to how it was. If you, personally, try to play it with any strategy, you'll just end up frustrated by people who take all the insignias yet never turn anything in.
