WoW Brazil - The game has changed
Return to board index
My impressions since WoW opened in Brazil a few weeks ago.
1. No random group roll will ever again be won with a greed, no matter what the stats are on the item.
2. There is no point trying to help people in random groups to do quests or pull smaller groups or warn them about strategies, unless you speak Portuguese.
3. Random groups are completely impersonal now, it's no longer an MMO, the language barrier has totally changed the landscape.
4. Queue times have dropped for dps.
ps - don't call me a racist because i recognize that language barriers are important in supposedly social multiplayer online games.
Sadly I've found those to be true, although I have also been in a couple groups were the Brazilians were on point, moreso than the nonBrazilian players. Exceptions, i dont know, most of my experiences are in LFR and I heal those so I hate all of you for standing in fire while doing 30k-60k dps, I'd understand if you were doing 90k+ ...LFD is a joke as far as difficulty (i sometimes windshear random mobs for extra fun) so language really isnt an issue unless something extremely dumb is going on.
p.s. You're supposedly a racist and thats bad in a social(/2?) MMORPG and IRL.
Last week, I heard someone accuse their co-worker of being racist for saying "that's the pot calling the kettle black". *facepalm*
That particular accusation has become so routine in this PC world that it has ceased to have any meaning to me.
Damn those materials for reflecting light in similar patterns!1!11!
