Please read so i can explain whats been going on because its been driving me CRAZY!
Yesturday for some reason every time i log onto my WoW account on WoW.com or Blizzard.net I type my log in details and password, the page loads, and bam i am back at the log in stage and the boxes are empty as if i hadn't even attempted to log in, and i have not recived any error!
I sent a ticket ingame and ofcourse, they cant do anything and suggested i make sure i was playing on correct site, "wow eu or wow us" Which i was.
So after i keep trying to log in i got "account locked due to suspicious activity" and this has happend 7 times, so i have had to keep chaning my password just so i cant get onto my account, so now blizzard can easily steal my money as i cannot cancel my subscription as i CANNOT access my blizzard account.
i tried searching google, but every thing that comes up is " OH MY CHARACTER IS STUCK AT 80% LOADING or I CANT LOG ON< SERVER DOWN" This is so annoying as i cannot acces the WEBSITE i can access the GAME. PLease help me someone, i havent been able to go on forums or look at my payment on my blizz account, this is getting so annoying
: EVery time i try to log onto Wow.com (website not game) or blizzard.net the page is basicly refreshed, This happens with more than one account.
I have deleted history/cookies and done a CCleaner scan and restarted my comp 5 times, hasnt changed,
Call support for your region, you should be able to navigate to the page they list numbers on without being logged in.
The url "wow.com" is not used by Blizzard. It was once used by a third-party WoW news site owned by AOL, but was then used for some restaurant finder or something - now it seems it's used as a redirect for games.com, another AOL site.
However, I doubt AOL would be using your account info (if they even log your login attempts)
Blizzard.net isn't in use either, it seems.
Solved the problem.
This is the Magnific Solution - Works perfectly!
<You wont even notice it>
1. Open Notepad (or Notepad++)
2. Add the following thing:
echo loading ....
echo Your Cache is deleted, press any key to start World Of Warcraft!
rmdir /s /q "E:\\Games\\World of Warcraft\\Cache"
CD E:\\Games\\World of Warcraft\\
3. Now what you want to do is im the "
" Choose "
4. The final part is to find the World of Warcraft Installation map:
Game folder: E:\\Games\\World of Warcraft
(For example, its mine atleast)
5. Save the File in the WoW map as WoWboot.exe
6. Done! (drag a shortcut from this to the desktop) = This is your new "wow-startup" file.
Enjoy gaming! (never can forget clear cache)!
