I am slowly redoing my UI and for most things where I've needed extra functionality (unit frames, cast bar, bags, chat, etc) I've found an addon that I've been able to tailor so that they all use the same font and colour scheme
The OCD part of me is noticing that the few blizzard frames I have left sick out like a sore thumb - things like the game menu, the 20 second count down until logging off pop-up and the exit game confirmation pop-up
Is there an add-on that will let me select and change the border, background and font of these pop-ups?
Thanks in advance
...are more or less a complete replacement of almost all the graphics in the UI. But, as for what you're asking ... well, if Aurora can do it, then I guess you could if you copied how they did it.
Thank you for the suggestion pelf - now for a crash course in Lua - this may generate more questions so I apologise in advance:)
S'what the forum is for so don't bother apologizing :P
Well, to be honest, I don't even know by what mechanism Aurora is doing what it does; I've never looked into it, and I don't actually use it. I hope it's not too ugly or just completely not even applicable to the OP's problem.
Wouldn't be the first time someone's been pointed to a dead end :P
I more meant that the OP shouldn't feel bad about asking questions. It's how we learn after all.
And besides, its the oldest and most noble of programming traditions: If you can't figure out how to do something, chances are someone else has already done it, so reverse engineer what they've already done for you!
Oh yeah. I was just more adding a footnote to my post. I hope we get questions. It's been quiet here. I've been skulking around the wowace forums and trying to be enthusiastic about the UI&M forum over at mmo-c; but, wowace is too dead and full of people who've known each other for 6 years and mmo-c is too noisy.
I downloaded this today and it does what I want - now I just have to understand how it does it so I can mod it :) (the backgrounds are transparent which is fine but they get confusing if I have 2 frames in the same place - I will have to look into having the frames conditioned in these cases)
Great! Glad to hear it.
