New problem about 200-result limit
Return to board index
Database > Spells > Professions > Alchemy
You can check them all here though:
But in this interface you cant filter them, and "Filter these results" leads to the first link.
One of the reason's Wowhead is faster than the competition is because we do as much of the data sorting as possible client-side. In order to do that quickly, though, we HAVE to limit the number of possible results. The only time when we show ALL the results from a "Browse" query like that is if you're in the finest possible level of filtering. For example, Browse =>
will show you 200 out of 6578 weapons. Browse => Weapons =>
will show you all 902 daggers available in the game.
The same applies to pretty much the rest of the site.
You can filter the columns to an extent in the Recipes list. For example, right click on Skill and in the popup type ">300" to find the recipes available after skill level 300. You can also filter the recipe list by Name fairly easily.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for your explanation, I totally understand that.
One more quesion, why
is still showing some recipes like "Ebon Netherscale Belt" (Leatherworking (385)) which is apprently below 550?
550-600 works well, nvm.
Sorry for bump this thread again.
I found that the 200 limit is also applied on "sold by" column in any items.
This list is apprently incomplete, one NPC who is not listed is
Unlike the spell thing I mentioned, which has alternate way to show them all or filter them. For this I can't figure out any other way to show all the vendors sell this item, or show only the vendors in Pandaria.
Perhaps there is another way I'm not aware of but for this instance I did an NPC search with the tag 'Leatherworking:'
And that found all vendors with that tag (55).
Could also put in Tailoring Supplies or Trade Goods.
Anyone have a better suggestion on how to solve this particular issue?
If not... I'm thinking this would be one of those exceptions where there are just so many numerous vendors that sell it that it likely doesn't come up very often that someone would need more than 200 options to acquire the vendor item. I agree though that it would be nice to refine that tab to a particular zone.
