Castsequence is failing me
Return to board index
/castsequence reset=15 Expel Harm, Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab;
okay, basically as it should go to jab after expel harm goes on cooldown. It only does it occasionally. As if the macro is accurate. But, there's still a lot of times it doesn't work at all. It's getting annoying. my energy reaches maximum and the macro doesn't work to use jab at all i go chi starved etc etc.
So, What is wrong with this macro? why isn't it working at all? Could this be relating to latency? or perhaps since expel harm has a range if i use it while i'm out of jab's range it fails?
I need some kind of solution. No reason to have all my chi builders taking up so much space on my bars. that would be so wasteful with the amount of space i'll need over time.
Take off ; at the end.
There is a reason to keep them separate though. Castsequence has no spell queuing so it's always going to be slower. Maybe doesn't matter on farming but on raid progression everything counts.
I would combine your buttons in a different way.
/use Expel Harm; Jab
using /castsequence reset=# macros in order to reset after a spell's CD is up don't work the way you want because the reset=15 is 15sec after the
use of the macro, not first. so each time you Jab you have to wait 15 full sec before it'll reset OR you're still Jabbing and it's cycled back around to the start while Expel Harm is still on CD, and won't skip it until it comes off CD. The only solution I've found is to not use /castsequence and use modifiers to combine spells into 1(+mod) button.
Also, you avoid the problems with spell queuing like zohar says above.
