I was an Enchanter/Alchemy up until a few days ago, I had nothing to do with all my Spirit of Harmony.
Right now it is just pilling up and I'm using it to buy Golden Lotus for my GBank if needed atm.

There is a vendor that takes SoH in exchange for crafting mats (like
Ethereal Shard
) in
Vale of Eternal Blossoms
. Other than that, they will eventually probably become BoA or not bound, so it may depend on if you have alts you want to save them for.

I'm happy that I don't need them as a enchanter. I am enchanter/tailoring and tailoring uses plenty of them.

You don't want to buy
Ethereal Shard
from the vendor directly... buy the more expensive mats like
Golden Lotus
sell them for gold and buy what you need. Some of the items aren't as valuable.
I personally was using them to buy
Ironpaw Token
Ironpaw Token
to speed up my cooking masteries and buy
Cooking School Bell
.

There is only one recipe for a tailor that uses SoH. The Song of Harmony which subs 3 SoH for 3 bolts of cloth to make 1 Imperial Silk. It also bypasses the daily limit on making Imperial Silk.
You can convert 3 spirits into 9 golden lotuses which sell for 900 gold atm on my server. The cloth sells for 60 gold. The only way I conceive of using that recipe would be if I was really really desperate for Imperial Silk and could not wait. Not likely.

At this time I am using all my spirits for Imperial Silk. I will continue to do this till all my alts have filled out
Royal Satchel
in all needed slots. Once that is done I will reevaluate.
edit to add: And how do you have an AH price for an item that is BOP?

I assume he's talking about the 3x
Bolt of Windwool Cloth
that is the difference between the two imperial silk recipies.
Ganimede's response is right on target. As I said above the cost differential in mats makes the SoH recipe nonsensical unless there is an over-whelming need for speed in making Imperial Silk which, should such a reason exist, be transitory at best.

As I said in my response earlier I am doing so until I have my alts fitted with
Royal Satchel
once that happens, I will be looking a little deeper as to what I want.
