my account is banned without explanation, there has been no reply to the two or three tickets i've put in, and trying to call blizz is almost impossible, since i can't even get on the que. at this point all i want is my money back for the battle chest i purchased for my third account. how do i make them pay me or get the account unbanned?

well calling blizzard is the quickest option, its really weird they didnt send any mail stating why you were banned though, they normally always do that (prehaps check spambox).

It could be for many reasons.
If it's without notice then I assume you either got hacked or have suspicious activity (many things contribute to that)
I had my account hacked once, emailed Blizz and got my account back within a half hour.
I also had my account frozen due to suspicious activity a few weeks ago which I guess is because I got mobile broadband for when internet isn't available at home. The sudden switch of internet supplier (or something) was probably suspicious, though all I had to do was authenticate it was me and change my password.
I guess it depends how busy customer support is at that moment + what exactly you are banned for. Just keep at it though.
PS. Can't you get Battlechest for £5 in most places now?

Correct. If the account is banned for legitimate reasons, they're not going to refund a penny, nor do they legally have too.
The OP needs to contact Blizzard, and try a bit harder if you haven't been able to get through. There is no reason you won't be able to do so eventually.
