Oooh- that sounds cool. Maybe he could, like, shout to cast spells, kind of like he was a dragon.

I thought Blizz said they didn't want any Heroclasses anymore.
Also, this isn't Blizzard. So if you wish to see the Dragon Sworn in the game, post it on Blizz's forums.
Forget it. This is the fourth time Don has posted a new class topic. They usually get some discussion about abilities or how well they will fit into the lore and that's about it.

Has already been attempted.
There was a Full Guild of Dragon
Borne
Sworn in Vanilla Alpha. They beat all content available, even killing Sargeras at lvl 100.
Blizz GMs had to fight them to retake control of Azeroth. The final battle was over a week long ending in the Field of Strife in Alterac Valley. The GMs won, and banished the Dragon Sworn to the land of Cyrodil.
Til now, the have slept. Recently, the first of them has awakened in the Northern Lands of Skyrim. The others are soon to follow. They are coming, not as a class, but as the enders of Azeroth.
This is pure gold.

I think the Dragonsworns would fit in well, because exactly how you said it, the dragonflights are pretty much all very weakened atm, and they now need to start recruiting as many heros as they can. Since the Dragon aspects are now mortal, they need to preserve their powers through more "mundane" and race tolerant means. While the Aspects are 'mortal'....they aren't in any danger of dying anytime soon; short of KJ/Sargeras showing up or the Old Gods breaking free, there isn't much on Azeroth that can kill them....which you know; was the only other danger they had even when they were immortal. There are still dragons alive now who were around for the War of the Ancients and even those who saw the Charge of the Flights; so far, only one dragon was ever mentioned in regards to old age, and that was the consort who died in Day of the Dragon, and he was sick from being put under the Demon Soul.
Also,
Dragonsworn
; famous one Rhonin...who didn't get any special powers from Krasus.

I'd argue that the next hero class we get will be applicable to the next expansion we get, and I can't see it being Dragonsworn.
Lore wise, I just can't see it being the next expansion.
We will see.

Since dragons are a huge part in japanese myths, this could come well as a patch after MOP =).Um...no they actually aren't; Dragons are a big part of Chinese myths, which is why MoP is introducing the Cloud Serpents....

Not really
; compared to the rest of the Asian countries, Japan doesn't have as much in regards to dragons.

I love the equal parts of snobbishness in this thread (oh hey my spell checker didn't underline "snobbishness").
I'm definitely on board with asa's suggestion that DonKillShot start a blog and link it in his signature. I would subscribe because although I don't believe Blizzard would ever take him seriously, I think his ideas and designs are thought out well enough that a game design company, either a large one or a small start-up, might take notice.
Don't limit yourself, DKS. You're obviously passionate about game design, and I'm sure everyone has heard that line about finding something you love to do and then figuring out how to make money doing it so you never have to work another day in your life. The competition is fierce out there, but I don't see very many designs that reflect hours of fairly competent design.
Go for it man. Live the dream.
