That is why Titan is under development. Because that new game will be released when the last of the lifelines have been used.Except...Titan isn't based in the Warcraft universe and in fact is going to be a completely new series that has no ties to anything Blizzard has created before.
In present day, Blizz knows the cycle is now settled on children and toddlers 6-10 years old. To appeal to these kids that probably already play LoL, they implement pandas. Kung Fu Panda 2 having already been seen recently by many of these kids influenced blizz's choice significantly. The cartoony and unserious style of LoL is leaking onto WoW. Blizz obviously has seen LoL has more players that WoW. They think that the player base wants to see cartoons and not serious fighting, i.e. pandas fight each other as sparring not real fight to the death. Blizz has also realized many kids and teenagers still play pokemon. Pet battling attracts these players too. Alcohol being one of the prevalent factors in MoP will also appeal to older people. So much Wild Mass Guessing and random fact gathering that has nothing to do with each other.
This game is a system. I am only a messenger sharing about Blizzard's new corrupted leadership. No, you aren't at all; you just enjoy bashing Blizzard.
Edit: And all things considered....gonna leave it here, but ha!

If they are doing market research. Why they lost many customers? In every expansion they make something innovative and interesting- still they are loosing customers. Players wanted bit hard expansion than WoLK - they introduced cata...many players lefts...
Make game challenging is good enough? or still they need to focus on newbies and fun players in game?
What could be the reason for this?

What could be the reason for this?
There could be hundreds of reasons.
To name a few:
- Economic situation forcing people to stop playing
<- Never bought this one, doesn't make sense.
- People bored with WoW after 7 years, even with the innovation, at heart it's still the same.
<- Probably a big part of it.
- Not enough to do end-game. Something Blizzard acknowledges.
<- Another big part.
- People taking breaks untill MoP
<- Unless they are taking breaks of 3 months or more, this wouldn't show up in a quarterly sub count.
Though this is getting a bit off-topic.
You don't believe that some people have to cut wow so they can afford other things? Despite it being only $15 a month, if you're a minor and your parents can't afford to do that as well as other bills it will get cut first. This is probably only a small percent of those that are leaving, but it still counts as a sub loss.

Market research =/= growth.
Yup agreed on above all points. But those are personal reasons for each player to quit wow or taking break.
Is there any idea what is the fault of Blizzard?

Their is huge amount of silent people who left wow due to economic problems or to focus more on RL. They liked wow with heart and always want to come back - but waiting for right time in RL.
