Because people are never happy.
Honestly though, I agree; if people hate Blizzard so much, and what they do, instead of complaining about it on the forums or in game, just quit, and stop paying money to the company they hate.

The thing about the WoW achieve point system... it's not about the points or how many you got, it's about getting ideas for fun stuff to do. You'd be surprised.
On the flip side you could try things that are specifically player driven, like RPing big elaborate setups with specific gear, or try other weird/crazy stuff with your friends.

I relise that this post will probobly be flamed like no other, but i have to ask WHY dose everyone hate on blizz so much?
I mean yes they have their problems but TBH they put out one pretty awesome %^&*ing game. and yea it has its problems, but so dose any other video game, go play Fallout: New Vegas and then come back and talk to me about bugs not being fixed
It is a very strange phenomenon but people love to @#$%^ about MMOs on message boards, and then log in and play for 4-6 hours a night. And that makes no sense!
That has been my experience with the genre since 1999 and it is bizarre, it really is!

It's a combination of factors:
First (and I think foremost), the Internet may be primarily for
porn
, but its secondary purpose seems to be complaining - at least in regards to message boards and forums.
Second, some people actually enjoyed the game as it used to be structured; that's not a fault, but it does mean that the game has changed in such a way as they might not enjoy it. However, I would posit that we rarely hear from these folks, or if we do, they tend to chime into the conversation in a rather quiet, concise manner - more of a 'reminisce' than a complaint.
Finally, you have the 'rose-colored hindsight' folks, and I feel these make up the bulk of the complainants. They look back at the game and only remember the things they enjoyed, completely failing to mention the hundreds of things that have improved; if they were actually asked to play on a server that had the prior environment for which they 'wished', they would likely be back on the live servers in a matter of days as they realized that the past wasn't really as great as they remembered it.

If you beleive the actual boss fights in vanilla were so hard, give me any one example that can even compare to current contentOriginal Hakkar, at level, in non-tier gear, used to be the raid breaker.
