Makes sense to me. Was just curious since I've seen a lot of different people say a lot of different things. Think I'm gonna give that a try though. I'm currently at 12% hit so I could probably gain back a lot of dmg if I scaled that back. Thanks.

if the opponent was good, saw a warrior with full rage bar, he'll be sure to bring out the CC and kiting expertise and wait till you loose that one shot CD, intercept, raging blow, execute before he'll dare close in with you...
and fast reacting debuffers will get that "enrage" out of your system before they'll let you get to close to them.

There are some very high rated Wars running Fury, especially with the state of Arms currently. Besides, "balanced" competition is in 3 or more. Being ready to kite that Fury War or dispel them is not the easiest task when you are being locked down/stunned, etc. from between 2 and 9 other players. On top of that Fury is very mobile and you don't have to strike with your CD's every time you hit full rage. You can wait. They can't kite you all day. Eventually you get a 4 second intercept stun, and that's all Fury needs. Picking the right time to strike, is a key part of Fury as well as part of the fun.

VI. Tips & Tricks
Heroic Leap "Fix"
Everyone is familiar with the buggy pathing of Heroic Leap. However, if the game believes you are falling, it will ignore all pathing and just let you jump. To achieve this you simply need to fall approximately 1.5x your normal jump height, meaning even jumping off a small ledge or hill will do. This video demonstrates:

That's awesome. thank you
#show Intercept; Charge
/cast Charge; Intercept; Battle Stance; Berserker Stance
/stopcasting
/cast Hamstring
My favorite macro. Can't charge? I'll slow you. Can't slow you? I'll charge you. :)

very much agreed. heroic leaping in the middle of nearly dead targets, Whirlwind, and Fearing, so much fun. ;>

loki do you have a Fury dps macro, that has CS, BT, RB in castsequence, sorta all in one button... i would like to incorporate this with mouse scroll down, for easier dps while moving...

3. Cast X spell if you have Y buff, else cast Z spell.

Not possible
---. Although UnitBuff() (which checks buffs on a unit) is usable by macros, CastSpell() (which casts spells) isn't, meaning you can't use this code to cast spells.
You can't make a macro that cast a spell depending whether or not you have a buff.
If you REALLY want a rotation macro -bad idea in my opinion-
#showtooltip
/cast Raging blow
/castsequence reset=20 Colossus Smash, Bloodthirst, Bloodthirst, Bloodthirst, Bloodthirst, Bloodthirst, Bloodthirst, Bloodthirst, Bloodthirst
Press a modifier (ctrl/alt/shift) to Raging blow, otherwise it will cast CS/BT.
You, however, need multiple clicks/scrolls.
On a forum of mine (I asked for a similar macro), there was a post by
Brokle
Just learn to play. Fury is far from difficult, and trying to reduce a rotation (for any class) to a one button macro is generally bad form.

Why only do you say no more than 5% hit? That only makes sure your special attacks don't miss but doesn't fury depend on our white swings to build rage?
Yeah, I don't remember what white hit cap is, but the problem is you're so far away from it with current gear you'll sacrifice a ton of dps trying to get at it. In the end you'll be left with a lot of rage but you'll hit like a wet noodle.
A better scenario is to take longer to build rage, but when you do get full you can explode people with insane damage.
You don't have to take my word for it though, just go look at a bunch of high rated Arms or Fury warriors. None of them will be above 5%.
Well arms are not dual-wielding and usually dont have the same rage-starvation problems as fury warriors have so 5% is enough for arms, for fury I'd suggest going for around 7-8% but that's a preference thing.
I've played fury since cata but recently I respecced arms for two reasons:
1. At higher rated arenas/Rated BG's people will just soothe-spam fury warriors and thus prevent them from doing any good burst
2. Arms hits like a truck comparing to fury! Was surprised when I respecced because I really didnt expect arms to hit so hard. If you fail to bring someone down with fury rape-macro (Deathwish, recklessness, dps trinket) you will have a hard time to kill someone, because without cooldowns fury your damage is quite low.
Fury rocks in BG's though and their mobility is awesome.

Exactly. i have about 11% hit right now, i feel it's very important to get hard capped or near there to have good rage generation.
And yeah it seems without cools that your damage is low. But that's why they're nerfing mastery so it's not so extreme with cooldowns (Along with heals)
My enrage proc is 18% damage increase so it's giant bonus when it procs and then when it falls it's like *Raspberry*
Fury will still own after the patch

With these changes I don't see how they can justify soothe (enrage dispel) spam, not that I really feel they can justify it currently. As you say Arms already does more damage outside of cd's. Soothe spam vs. Fury is almost equivalent to continuous CC and it cancels out the one niche we have in PvP which is our burst.

Me thinking out loud: Maybe they'll add a talent/glyph/specialization for enrage to become indispelable. or a nerf to tranquilizing shot for fury, since it's so crucial.

Even though I feel that making Fury immune to enrage dispel is the correct approach, I hardly think Blizz is going to do that. They only recently made Soothe instant cast, seemingly to combat Fury. For whatever reason it seems that Blizz thinks that this particular aspect is in balance.
For me, I feel its the one defining factor that really is holding Fury back from being a competitive spec in high rated Arena.

That's true.
And also the fact that they turned it into an enrage dispeler in 4.01 so obviously they wanted another dispeler.
