so one day i was having some really bad lag and my friend recommended me to download this :
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info13581-leatrixlantencyfix.html
what it does basically is reduce your latency. it is avalible on any kind of windows (windows 7, vista XP) but im not sure about macs. anyway it helped me sorta and is pretty straight forward to download. i recommend any one who is having some lag to take a look at it. its free and light.
i don't really wanna be like, advertising or anything just wanna point it out cos i don't think many people use it.

Just so people don't get confused,
this is not an add-on
. It's a script that changes the way Windows deals with data coming in. I would not recommend using something like this unless you actually know what you're doing.

This does reduce latency. I've never used it as I did it manually, but it reduces the packet checks that windows does, therefore processing it faster. To those above that try to sound smart but just come off ignorant, try reading comprehension ftw.

An add-on can't reduce latency because it's bound to your Internet speed. Anyone thinking it can and making an 'add-on' it a little stupid and people who believe it are misleaded.
And if it could, I think it's illegal.
Find out what it actually does, before trying to sound smart and end up with egg in your face.
It's legal to use, and it does work. I used to run around 250+ ms, after getting it i run around 70-100.

well considering there downloading a add on to help reduce there latency it doesnt suprise me there stupid.theres other ways that are more effective at reducing your latency.to be honest though,i think theres eather some isp problem with WoW lately or the servers are just more laggy because i keep seeing multiple people on the tech support forums everyday complaining about lag
and ive been pretty laggy myself lately to on WoW
Seriously, do you post
just
to troll?

I've been using it for ages, and it works pretty nicely.
... I can't really add anything, since all the clever things has been said. It is indeed not an add-on, and Malent's fine piece of copy-paste has it right.
