WTB Shadow Nova. Or something else instant for when you don't get the full duration of a channel, or when DoT spamming is inefficient. Maybe Shadow Bomb, similar to the Fire Mage's Living Bomb? Idk, I just feel that the lack of an instant AoE for Shadow is what's gimping it atm.
I just wish they would give Shadow a better Mastery.

plus mind spike i dont think is that great it is now. its not in my single target rotation.
It isn't meant to be.
Ya i know but i think its stupid they add a spell in the game that has really no use at all. My idea would be a nice way to make use of it and increase our aoe damage
It has a use, but it's not supposed to be used all the time. Like many priest spells. MS fills in a niche nicely, which was its design.

Right. How often do you cast Levitate? Or Fear Ward? Probably less than Mind Spike... But when you do need to cast them, they are still great spells to have.

Same, I think maybe we need something that would give more damages to the Dots. Like locks, There Mastery is base in to there dot damages.
We have 3 DoT's. if we had that, chances are the increase per point with be so small that it would be even more useless. We need something that makes us have another cool graphic.
Maybe keep the shadow orb idea, but when it gets to a certain point, our shadow aura expands and shoots pure shadow damage in a shadowy awesomeness type effect towards the target dealing x% Mind Spike damage and increasing DoT damage by x% for 6 seconds.

We have 4 DoT's: VT, SW:P, DP, and yes Mind Flay counts as a DoT.
Also, when you "pop" your Shadow Orbs with Mind Spike or Mind Blast, you get
Empowered Shadow
, which increases the damage of those 4 DoTs by 20% for 15 seconds. So clearly you're going to want to cast Mind Blast every 13 seconds, or every time you reach 3 Orbs. Whichever happens first. You want to make your Mind Blast hit for more, so waiting for 3 Orbs is ideal, but if the Empowered Shadow buff is about to fall off it's best to just cast Mind Blast even if you don't have all 3 orbs yet just to refresh the buff. You need at least 1 orb, though.
