Its a religious holiday? You don't deserve anything for what you don't believe in, sorry...

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Why the hell should anyone get presents for Christmas? It's a Pagan holiday co-opted by the Catholic/Christian churches.
Christmas has no religious significance, as it never says in the bible that Jesus was born on the 25th of December...in fact, from the descriptions, it was more likely he was born during the spring or summer over there, as even the desert still get's winter.

Pretty much what Adams said.
I believe Jesus was born in April (the 6, iirc). Christmas was a pagan holiday taken by the Romans and turned into the official celebration (iirc of course))

Yeah no. It's a religious holiday in the sense that Christians made it so. However, it was originally pagan in origin (For example, it was once considered to be a holiday because the sun rose earlier each day and set later, showing that the sun was unconquered.)

So a holiday designed around receiving gifts is religious? Isn't the spirit of the season suppose to be about giving and not receiving anyways? So does it matter if the atheist get's the gift as long as he hands out his own.
TL/DR: Christmas has no real 'religious' connection anymore.
Edit: Not aimed at you Funden.

I didn't assume that it was.

Christmas really isn't that much of a religious holiday anymore, unless you live in a very religious area (like, Utah religious). Otherwise, it's been caught up in the secular portion.

Christmas isn't a Christian holiday.
I think any people should give gifts to anyone at any time of year.
