I believe it has to do with going into the actual file and find the code and deleting that from the script. Without it being there, it can't run and make the noise. Can't think of anything else other then having the sound turned off/low.

I was surprised that it is up and has been up on the official forums. Figured Blizzard would have some issue with it since they have issues typically with anything people do to modify files.
He probably idles a lot. If I'm out and about it doesn't bother me, but if I'm sitting waiting for something it can get a bit annoying.
I haven't done it cause like you it just doesn't bother me enough.
What do you mean? People have been model editing for years, and Blizzard has never cracked down on it. Their official stance is that they don't have a problem with it until you use it to exploit in-game, e.g. removing the starting gates in Arathi Basin.

Just as a side-note, though, wouldn't it be cooler if AB started but for 2-3 minutes you couldn't cap any flag yet?
You can make this mod yourself.
/bg Guys, I got a mod what prevents me to capture flags for the first 3 minutes.

He wasn't talking about making it a mod, just what if the BG started but for the first 2-3 mins you couldn't cap any flags.

Yes i know what sarcasm is, I use it quite often. But like most people know, it is quite hard to sense sarcasm in written text. Especially if you're extremely tired.
And my point still stands, he didn't mention making it a mod its more so a suggestion to Blizz to get more strategy involved. Which i don't agree with.

There is an option in Sounds to turn off all pet sounds. Whether that option acutally does turn off all pet sounds is another matter.

I checked this out, yes it does turn off the bubbling. But you gotta do the right steps to get it to work. I thought that unchecking this option then doing a mount/dismount to dismiss/call my WE back would have the game check for "Do I annoy them with my Bubbling: Yes/No?" But it took the additional step of unchecking Sound Effects as well--then dismiss/call the WE. Then rechecking sound effects, otherwise you get no spell effects or talking etc.
BTW I tried the above method of creating the folders and making a blank file. That works for silencing just the bubbling and keeping his spell sounds. (
I also copy/pasted a Jurassic Park dinosaur roar and renamed it to the WE sound. That was terribly unnerving! Having the TRex roar at you over and over? Priceless!)
