My groups:
Dragonsworns named Kiran and Koran, working with a pair of Hyper's characters to hunt down a trio of assassins(also Sworns) who are working for Maiev, killing Night Elf senators in Gilneas for a tidy profit.
Tae'sash and his familiar Aya are working for Kalistra, getting an old book from Talia Martin and Garos Windwalker; Tae, Talia and Garos are heading back to Dustwallow to hand it over to Kali(who's not evil, dead, or Hungry).
And the Pack is the standard group; Lobo, his mate, his daughter and his two best friends. They are working for the Crown to find the Night elf killers.

Orpheus, being what he is, is a bit of an experiment. I'm interested in seeing of I can pull him of as well as I hope.
But just in case I can't, I've got a grade A classic Skree villain plot lined up too... :P

Thanks guys. :)
As for me:
Orpheus, being what he is, is a bit of an experiment. I'm interested in seeing of I can pull him of as well as I hope.
But just in case I can't, I've got a grade A classic Skree villain plot lined up too... :P Dag'rema will be back, but perhaps not quite the way you remember her. ;)

*hint hint* For anyone in Stormwind who hasn't found an adventure to go on yet, Kef might as well have a yellow
shout pole
exclamation point above her head. :P
(Not to be self-centered, of course. I know I just joined and other people might want to direct the story. I'm just trying to make some options.)

Hey, just because I'm a massive geek, I came up with a theoretical design for a mega-mana bomb.
I based the idea off of fission bombs designed in the 40s, but with a magic twist (partially inspired by the megaspells from Fallout: Equestria).
The core spell is a transmutation spell: a small Philosopher's Stone is implanted into a core of a magical metal (like Arcanite or Fel Iron) that's been enriched even further with enchantments. A spell is carved onto the surface of the metal that utilizes the Philosopher's Stone to transmute the metal into elemental magic (say, Primal Fire, for instance). If Warcraft magic is anything like energy in our universe, the exchange rate from matter to magic would be quite high (thus, even a small amount of matter would yield a massive amount of energy/magic).
However, I would wager that in practice, the amount of mana that would be needed to cast a spell like this would be massive itself. Possibly more than any normal mortal could cast on their own.
The key, in my design, that would have made production of these bombs possible, would be the fabrication of something like a miniature
Sarcen Stone
(which were used to direct the flow of Ley Lines) to gather and direct magical energy, and some kind of magical lens or mirror (probably based on the Focusing Iris) to focus the magic gathered by the Sarcen Stones into the transmutation spell.
So, I would put two lenses around the core, at the "North" and "South" poles, with twelve Sarcen Stones arranged as the vertices of a icosahedron, and twenty Arcane Bombs arranged around those a the vertices of a dodecahedron (the dual polyhedron of a icosahedron).
Put all of that into a housing with a detonation spell engraved onto it to simultaneously blow all your Arcane Bombs, and you've got yourself a mega-mana bomb.

I like it.
Let's make it!

Or...just fuse a regular mana bomb with the Focusing Iris as seen in the Battle of Theramore and completely and utterly destroy the land as well as the laws of time, space and physics lol.

But...but then it isn't needlessly complicated or as awesome...

This bomb sounds like it's gonna be kinda... Big. As in, needs to be pulled around by elekks-big.
Also just letting you all know I'm not gonna be around that much today, as I'm going to the movies with some friends, but I might be able to post a bit when I get back. Tomorrow onwards I should be relatively free though, providing I don't sleep in too long >.>

This bomb sounds like it's gonna be kinda... Big. As in, needs to be pulled around by elekks-big.I was thinking Fat Man sized. If your arcane bombs are the size of grenades (like the in-game ones), I would imagine it being only, perhaps, a meter in diameter, and could either be stored by airship or just ported in via spell.

Hmm...I don't know about porting it in via a spell. I would imagine it might explode prematurely when being put through the ring of the portal due to the fluctuating arcane therein energy triggering it. I always imagined portal didn't operate like wormholes, but more like ferrying something along arcane flows or the ley lines from one point to another.

I imagined there were multiple kinds of portals.
Some broke you down into arcane energy and spat you out someplace else.
Some literally fold space to bring the spot closer.
Some shoot you along at otherwise impossible speeds.
Ect, ect.
